I just watched the show for the first time last night (was out when it premiered on Sunday). Although I didn't love it, it was
very good. I'm definitely drawn in more than ever. And I too miss Brenda. Can't wait until she returns.
A technical question for those who might know. I noticed a difference in the quality of film. And I don't think it's because it's HD. I've seen other shows that have it and it didn't look like this (for the record, I *don't* have an HD TV). But after watching the Season 1 box set these past few weeks, I noticed an immediate difference. Much darker. And grainier. Don't know if I like that. Thumbs up on the widescreen though.

I guess they started making these because parents sleeping with their babies is a huge trend now. You hear about crib death and that way you can make sure he's always breathing.

I dont get HBO so I have to relly on someone to tape them for me at work.
Got the tape today and watched it this evening.
Good episode but it was all a dream or just some of it.
His Death card showed up twice which confused me even more.
Love Lilly Taylor and Catherine O' Hara. Two of Hollywood most underrated actresses.

Maybe you can answer this question. Has six feet under ever started without a death? I have the first season and every episode does indeed start with a death, although my recollection of season two is hazy I believe the trend continued, So...
If Nate isn't dead then who is?

And that's the perplexing thing - the show broke it's own rules by not having a death at the begining. Well, I guess you can say that he died and came back - but still, it's kind of cheating.

He did ... it was a very nice open casket, although Nate said he wanted to be cremated.

I can't decide if it was cheap or brilliant to reference Schroedinger and the Copenhagen interpretation in the alternate/parallel realities sequence. At the risk of reading too much into that, I'm inclined to agree with das and say that we're in for one hell of an interesting season.

Even if Nate Jr. is dead, it doesn't mean he's totally written out of the series. He can be a ghost for a very long time, and show up in every episode...of course it'd get sort of boring after a while...

Maybe he'll live in this "alternate reality" for a few episodes, and then wake up on the table mid-season? My guess is he'll realize Brenda, no matter how ****ed up she is, is his true love.
