So I just powered through my R2 copy of Red Dwarf season 1 when something dawned on me - why havent they done the next season (what, season 9 now?) Are things held up because of the perpertualy in production movie, or did the rateings on S9 not live up and the BBC pulled the plug?

and isn't there supposed to be some full length movie supposed to be coming out as well....??

doubt it was the last season considering that they had a huge budget for #8.

Its funny watching season 1 where someone will touch the ship hull and it will move!

As far as I know season nine is finished, just not released to the US yet. The movie is in the works, as is a stage play.

I just hope the movie is good.
