SciFi Channel's Forever War adaptation

The SciFi channel is supposed to be developing a movie version of "The Forever War" by Joe Haldeman. It's supposed to air in 2003 but I can't find any information about it on their website. It's mentioned on Joe Haldeman's site and a few other places, but most of those entries were about 7 or 8 months ago, and I've heard nothing since. I also checked the TV schedule for all of next year on scifi.com and there's nothing.

Has anyone heard anything else about this? I was pretty excited when I first heard the news.

This article is from last April: http://www.code7r.org/b5lrlinks/sfcpr3.htm
