I thought it was hilarious when Evan even said about one of the "contestants" that he didn't think she was a gold digger. Heh.

I sort of like Zora's looks. Mojo is just trouble, and so is that other bank teller (blonde tresses). I do like the sweet blonde one, and Melissa does have a radiant smile.

At least Evan isn't joe suave and does have those "deer in the headlights" moments. I guess he'll be able to make it to the very end with the charade. How any woman who might truly fall for him could actually love him after he tells the truth is beyond me. The whole premise is to see how many women are of the gold digging type, and to participate in this show is to basically agree with this premise. Could any woman really find true love with Evan after all of this? I doubt it.

I think several of those "broads" lied about how old they were. When they first showed them, with their age, I went "Yeah right" on a lot of them. And the competitive blonde bitch banker? Who is she, the love child of Sylvester Stallone and Popeye? What's with that ugly crooked smile? Can't believe he chose her. She is white trash big time. And I'm surprised the token black girl isn't angry. Well, it *is* the first episode.

I agree... many of them have to be lying about their ages. Big time.

I honestly wasn't paying attention to the necklace ceremony until the end, and I thought i saw a glimpse of pearls on her neck when they were leaving (or was it a dream ).....but i didn't see her in the previews at all so figured she was a goner........so, to reiterate zuffy's request, is there a website of the golddiggers?

Am I the only one that was disappointed???
The only reason I am watching this show is the assumption that it was going to be like The Bachelor and they are going to show the reactions of the rejects at the end. The asian girl with the stupid sunglasses didn't make the cut, right? She seemed like the biggest gold digger of the bunch to me. Getting rid of half on the first day was pretty stupid.

Here's what I want on the next episode. Whoever gets kicked off gets a solid minute to bawl/swear/whatever to the camera and then they tell her that the guy is a $19k a year construction worker. If they aren't going to tell any of them until the very end then there is no point in watching until the final episode.

So exactly how much preparation did Evan get in becoming "educated" in the way of all things rich? I got the impression that it was all done the first day the women showed up.

And did I hear correctly that they will be kicking off 7 more women next episode? If it's only a 7-episode run, that will sure narrow things down considerably. At that rate, there won't be enough women in the final episode for the mud wrestling competition.

I thaught it was a good first show..Some of those women do look nice..Heidi is the real b**** of the group

Roto, I totally agree with you. The best part of that whole show would have been to show the reactions of all the girls cut after they learn it was a big joke. I guess the producers maybe feared they'd rat on them. I hope later they show us the reactions.

I think the girl you hate the most is who you want Evan to pick. It's not like you get a great prize if you win.

Heidi's reaction if she "wins" and finds out he's broke will be priceless.

I am pretty sure as well that he picked the well endowed black girl as well. Wasn't a bad show at all. They aren't dragging it out for months which is the only reason watching it.

These are the best girls that they could get for this? There isn't a looker in the whole lot. Couldn't they have scouted some Hawaiian Tropic contests or Hooters or something? These ladies are below the quality found on The Bachelor.

All I know is if I just inherited $50M, I doubt I would be interested in dating any of these girls. At first the tall blonde looked pretty good, but then I saw that schnoze and said 'game over.'

As for the guy, it is a good thing this guy is good-looking because he's not the sharpest knife in the block. Given that these girls are at best a 6 or 6.5, they will probably fall for him on his looks alone.

FOX should go back and do another Temptation Island instead of this.

If that guy really is from that lifestyle, he's the best damn actor I've ever seen.

Anyway, I enjoyed the show. Not great, but I still had fun laughing at everything. Paul "That's Not a Knife" Hogan was well-cast. Alex McLeod, however, was the worst "host" I think I've ever seen. She read her lines like an athlete on SNL. It not only killed the flow of the episode, but she served no purpose.

That woman host, you could tell her voice was dubbed over.

Dana is the tall blonde, Alison is the strawberry blonde with weird vein in the forehead, Dayana is the big hootered black girl, Heidi is the banker beyotch, Zora reminds me of Charlotte on "Sex And The City", Mojo is a major gold-digger, Melissa W is the redhairded one, Melissa M with the dark curly tresses, Brandy seems too laid back, Andrea is the nerd of the group, Amanda is cute, Sarah seems okay (I think she made the cut).

This would be a good twist. At the end the guy tells the girl he picks after she tells him of her undying love he's really a construction worker making $19,000 a year, but he really loves her. Then when she blows up and walks away we find out he really IS a multi millionaire. Just wanted to see if she loved him or his money. That would be great.

By the way, at work the guys love this show, the women hate it. Imagine that.

I did not watch the show, but saw some of his press for the show, and was interested to note that he is now sporting a Rolex Daytona, now If I was making 19,000 per year and got
paid X amount for a tv show, I sure as hell would not be buying
a 9,000 dollar watch right out of the gate.

Anyone know how much he did get paid for the show?
