Something strange.....Im watching Seinfeld last night and noticed something. Im not sure of the episode title, but its the one where Elaine wears her Oriole hat in the owners box at the Yankee game. Theres a scene where just when George and Elaine are standing in front of their seats, there is a Zoom effect and then there is a Pan and Scan effect that makes their heads almost disappear from the top of the screen. Just as Kramer makes his way down the stairs to meet them it returns to normal. Did anyone notice this and if so, why was it done?

I've seen that episode a handful of times and never noticed any Zoom effects.

Nor have I. I have it on tape, I'll have to watch it and see what's going on behind the actors that they may have possibly cropped out.
