Well, Godfather is a "Movies That Rock"...

Sci-Fi sucks. After Farscape ends, i'm deleting that channel. [Not that i've been back since the season "finale" a couple months ago.]

His face is blue, like an alien. That makes it Sci-Fi.

This is a joke right? I haven't checked the schedule yet so I can only assume you are attempting to be humorous. A network devoted to SciFi and named SciFi would never air a historical drama about the fuedal wars of Scotland.

I guess Sci-Fi thinks that since LOTR came out that anything involving swords is considered sci-fi/fantasy.

I'm laughing, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was a meeting at scifi headquarters and Bonnie Hammer decided that blue faces DO equal scifi.

From: Bartertown due to it having a better economy than where I really live.
better than those direct to video craptastic horror flicks
but still not sci-fi

there's plenty of semi popular, bound to be cheap, sci-fi movies they could get
"Enemy Mine" and "Last Starfighter" come to mind

Maybe they will add a pre-credits sequence where you find out that Mel Gibsons character is really:

a) an alien
b) a time traveller from the future
c) a time travelling alien from the future
d) a immortal just like the guys from "Highlander"
e) Gazoo from the Flinstones stops by to share some haggis.

Maybe they thought he said "Freon" instead of "Freedom". Simple mistake to make.

the events of Braveheart could be from a slightly alternate reality -- bam now its Sci Fi.

When I saw in USAToday that SciFi was going to air Braveheart, I thought it was a typo. I guess not.
I'm assuming that SciFi can show Braveheart because USA has played it (and still owns the rights to play it).

Don't let the "Sci-Fi" in "Sci-Fi Channel" confuse you. They have no interest in the genre.

See? And you guys were wondering why Braveheart was on Sci-Fi! They're showing the rarely seen "magic and superstition" version. Duh.

So does that mean, this Sci-Fi version of Braveheart will have men in pants instead of skirts?

A world where magic and superstiton were real!
How lame can you get. This is supposed to be a historical epic based [albeit loosely] on fact. The world they are talking about is the "real world" someplace where the Sci-Fi execs obviously don't occupy. They can pretty much say this about anything they air.

This probably explains why "Crossing Over" was on Sci-Fi. Lol.

Oh ... my ... God. "Magic and supersition" Just when you think those pig****ers can't sink any lower ...

Btw, they've replaced their airing of Mallrats with the premiere of Bring it On.
