Couldn't make it through the show: once Weekend update ended, I went to do something else.
This season of SNL has been painful to watch...they seem to be reverting to the old problem of the joke getting a little loooong. Even Weekend Update, which use to be my favorite segment, has gotten utterly lame this year.
Last year, each episode was must-watch-TV for me, but this season could barely keep my attention for 30 minutes. Will Farrell's absence is definitely noticeable, as well as Ana Gasteyer's (and none of the new folk seem like they'll be breakouts).

I thought the leather sketch was hella funny myself. So what if they cracked each other up. Those were some of the best moments on the Carol Burnett Show when Tim Conway and Harvey Korman did that.
