Hunter - Return to Justice
2 hours of my life ... gone.
Nothing like a network TV reunion movie to overuse explosions, made even worse by the "preview" clips that told the viewer exactly what would happen in the next segment. Typical NBC nonsense.
Dunno where Kramer bought her new face, but it looked pretty good, I guess.

Ha!
I only wasted 5 minutes. Enough time to see him shoot a guy off a motorcycle then shoot another baddie.

I forgot to tape it
all week I when I saw commercials I was like "have to tape that since you work"
totally forgot. I loved Hunter when it was on and wanted to see the movie even if it sucked

Yeah. Confusion. That seems to be going on this week. It’s amazing how the same words can have so many different meanings.
das, with all your multitasking, surely you don’t expect us to believe it was a total waste of 2 hours. I mean, I can’t see you devoting your full attention to a show like this.
You’ve mentioned one reason I generally don’t watch movies on the big three nets. “Let’s show a key action scene from the next segment just before going to commercial.” Even before I became aware of the spoiler sensitivities of many folks (mostly from TVTalk), I thought it was a crummy idea. [“Crummy” is not the word I had in mind.] And I seem to remember a promo calling him a “top cop.” I had no idea that lieutenant was as high as you could go.
Dryer is looking way long in the tooth for doing something like this.
I used to like the series. I feel like such a sucker.
At least I found out, from the promos, that I’m not missing a thing on Fear Factor.
Gotta run. They’re doing the motorcycle chase, and it looks like Fred just ate a bug.

Nah, not a total waste ... I was watching 3 football games on the other tuners.
I like how they turned him into a legend among the obligatory reunion movie "new class."
You're working with Hunter?
Yeah ... I can't believe it myself.
The real Hunter?
Yeah.
You sure? The legend! What's he like?
Legendary.
Wow ... LOOK OUT! That motorcycle is going to explode!!!
Another one?

Gorram Monkey and his ruttin' multi-tuner setup.
I swear, I'm kicking this cable addiction by Christmas. Really!

• Quoth BJacks •
I want a Hunter/Spenser team-up movie. Maybe toss in a cameo by Simon and Simon. Come on, who's with me?

Well, I'm with you, but I don't think Robert Urich is, what with him being dead and all.
Yeah, Steve Phillips, that was Hunter telefilm #2. The first was pretty lame too. The show was pretty good, though. If you like the 80s crime drama formula, it was one of the best. It still airs on TBS in the afternoons.

Hey das? GOOD news!!

NBC ORDERS MORE HUNTER
Hollywood Reporter
Due to the success of the HUNTER reunion movie earlier this month, NBC has ordered eight episodes of a new series that will star original HUNTER actors Fred Dryer and Stepfanie Kramer. The original series ran from 1984-1991.

Wow. WOW?!?!
I really did like the original show, but these telefilms have been completely lame. If they get good writers, I'd certainly watch, but the way NBC has handled their shows recently, I have serious doubts.
Thanks for the head's up.

I liked the series, too. But, as I mentioned before, Fred's age is showing.
8 episodes? What an odd number. Maybe a summer replacement?
There is no chance of "good writing." Come to think of it, I don't think the original show would have been accused of this, either.

thing to say.
