The show is as formulaic as you can get. If you're not tired of the formula, it'll be on a few more seasons. The different locations mean very little. Most of the Survivors have taken place on an island and one island was not vastly different from the next from a show perspective.

Yeah, the show can be formulaic, but so are sporting events. You just don't know what the outcome will be.

Good analogy. Sure it's formulaic, as is any game show, and that's what it is in the end, an elaborate game show. I still enjoy watching it although it has lost a bit of its freshness.

I was wondering if it's going to leave a gaping hole in CBS's fall line-up. What will replace it?

Speaking of Brian and his actress wife, I caught Sean Rector (from last season) on "Without A Trace" this week. Sean played a street hood.

Not to offend any cops out there, but wasn't there a guy out there suing because he was turned down as a cop because he was TOO smart. It then came out that they actually give potential cops IQ tests, and that because the more intelligent you are, the more likely you are to find the job of a cop crappy/boring and then quit, they don't want to waste money training you. It seemed then that they were actually hiring the dumber condidates.

I can only assume that there is another one that will start in February (sweeps) and end in May (sweeps).
