I loved how the opening totally ripped on Heather and Eve's illiteracy from last episode. Three teams reading the clue... "Walk to the..." and then Heather and Eve jumping into a taxi. Smooooth.

How the hell do Ken and Gerard do it? They totally don't look like a competitive team, but they're kicking butt.

Teri and Ian are so getting a divorce after the Race. Unless this is how they normally act...? Yikes.

Flo & Aaron's emotional explosions were sad, but really funny. She totally flipped out on the rappel... I saw her bring her brake hand around to cling onto the rope, and I was like, "Uh oh, here we go!"

maybe Ken tells Gerard that there are a box of glazed donuts at the pit stop.
These guys are awesome, Ken seems to be in good control of things and his language skills really seem to come in handy. These guys are awesome, It's like team guido and the gay team all rolled into a cool package.

Teri really needs to kick Ian's butt. Thank goodness he didn't say "Hoo-ah" again when they reached the end. The guy's got some kind of Al Pacino complex or something. I wonder what their kids think of all of this.

As Flo was starting to do the rappel, I kept thinking that if ever there was a time for Zack to swoop in and make her think that they would be right together, this would be a great time. But nooo . . no comforting. Just a little hand on the shoulder and an " oh s***."

I'm not giving POPS any PROPS, he's still an obnoxious jackass. I really wish Aaron and Airianne had ended up last. It's going to take a big mistake like the diesel mix-up to take them out of the race. At least that finally got them to shut up about the other teams.

Whoever came up with the idea to give them diesel trucks had a stroke of genius there. It was definitely intentional because when else have they had to get fuel? I don't think they've ever shown them filling a gas tank. It was a great idea if they only fooled one team with it, but they got 4 of em! LOL

Ian confounds me. Such a jerk. When there is a problem, a snag, he blames and berates her. But, when the truck conked out and it was all his fault, he said “We have a problem” or “We messed up.”, not taking any of the responsibility whatsoever.

If she hasn't left by now, she never will.

In order to get ready for the All-Star race, I'm catching up on some old seasons I never watched. (Didn't start until Season 7).

This has quickly become one of my favorite shows ever and Season 3 (so far) is shaping up to be one of the best. This "diesel" episode was classic...another in a series of colossal fuck-ups this season (getting detained, oversleeping on the train). I love it when a team completely screws themselves. But props to Ian for figuring it out himself.

Anyway, great season so far. And I still need to watch a few more to get acquainted with all the All-Stars...it's only a month away.
