Something's not right here. There's no way you run only 13 episodes of your #1 show over an entire season, this ain't HBO. Think about it : Nov, Feb and May sweeps make up 12 weeks, so that leaves one other episode. I think they'll be coming back, but for a full or near full season. If there were only 13 episodes, they'd be running reapeats all the time and lots of episodes for the third time and ... oh, yeah they already do that!

Oh, and as a point of clarification Friends : Old, but not tired. Fraiser, ER, Drew Carey, Everybody Loves Raymond, The Practice: Old and tired.

IMHO I actually think the writing has gotten better this year and last. I watched the 1st few season's, then stopped for several season, and find myself watching again.

Whether this year or next I just wonder HOW they will end it? Think they will all pair off and ride into the sunset as couples (that means Joey w/Phoeb's)? Or is that just to predictable?

But, to be (ahem) serious for a moment, why don't they just write her out?

Aside from Chandler [] they haven't had a gay main character. I think they could introduce a new guy who causes Ross a great deal of soul-searching but with whom he finally "bonds" in the last episode. This would link rightback to episode one when his first wife went off with another woman.

The actor to play that character for the final series: it has to be Ted McGinley

Of course Chandler is gay. He married the manliest character on the show

Don't tell me anyone here thinks Monica can't kick everyone's ass on that show. They don't mess with her, even if she is all skin and bones.
