Looking forward to it.

I read a small synopsys in my TV guide today and as an episode summary, it said:
Spoiler:
Ed hits the open road to justify his humdrum existence.

It hasn't even aired yet, and I'm already laughing at that line from Carol during the preview:

Spoiler:
"I don't want a wedding cake. I want a wedding pie."

It's little moments like that that make me love this show.

Man Kevin75 you beat me on making the thread. I made the thread for the past two episodes. I wonder what ed is going to do that is so shocking. The trailer for last week said Ed would do something unexpected or on the line of shocking.

Decent episode...nothing particularly great happened, IMO.

Not a bad episode--very good in some spots, though Cheswick-less...

Though Geofferson's right, nothing much happened.

What a humorless creep Dennis is, I can't wait until Carol dumps him. Maybe he'll leave and take Eli with him.

Regarding Dr. Mike dressing as a hobo to fool the teenager, is that the same outfit he wore when he got picked up for crack?

Note to Molly: Sweetie, you don't really need all those fishsticks on Friday. And next time, you might want to pick up a Diet Snapple instead.

Honk!

Wheelchair guy is getting on my nerves. I'm all about getting him back into acting, put him on Becker or something. Phil's starting to as well.

This ep, like everyone said, was nothing special. Sad to see the look on Ed's face when Carol put on the veil.

yeah, nothing really to write home about. however, i think that when carol put on the veil, ed was renewed in his determination to stop the carol/dennis wedding. however, i think that carol is going to take care of that by herself. with the phone call to ed, and the aborted kiss from dennis, i think that she is having serious doubts that will eventually lead dennis to realize what is going on and leave.

as for mike, i was wondering if that was what he was wearing when he was arrested.

Another painful episode of Ed. The angst is killing me!

I'm hoping this wedding nonsense is actually over after November sweeps. The show is getting too melodramatic. Ed's road trip with a guy who doesn't talk was absolutely pointless.

If I had a guidance counselor that cute, I would've gone to class!

While I agree that Eli is a bit annoying, you can't help but laugh at Phil with those constant basketball rematches. When he came out in that elevated wheelchair --->
He was so proud of his victory.

And while I'm not married (actually not even in that ballpark, ), I have learned enough in my 30 years of reading and listening and watching to know this much -- just let her make the decisions about the wedding. I'm not trying to sound like a chauvinist, but it just seems to always be the case (at least from what I've observed).

FWIW -- I think a wedding on that mountain top would be beautiful. Screw the guests, make them walk!

Was the guy that plays Phil also the guy on the road trip with a beard? Sure looked like it.

You are so right. When I got married, I made zero decisions about the ceremony and banquet. Nor did I want to. I might have balked at hauling my cookies all the way up a mountain, however.

Honk!

No, the road trip guy (Frank) was played by Eric Thal.

I think that the show would be better if they gave Dennis some redeeming qualities. It seems like he is made out to be a horrible person, one that we are destined to root against. I think that it would be nice to have a likable antagonist to go up against Ed for Carol...and I am still waiting for Ed and Molly to hook up eventually.

Well, I FINALLY get to see en ep (actually 1/2 an ep...I turned it on at 8:26), and it is SUCH A DOWNER!!!
Very little wit, very little Molly, very little Mike; Just annoying Nancy, Annoying Carol and Princi Jackass!!!
Carol was SO annoying that I actually felt SORRY for PJ.
And GOOD LORD was the Nancy as counselor sub plot annoying.
Note to writers: Do NOT try to "humanize" PJ by making everyon around him MORE ANNOYING THAN HE IS!!!!!
Eh. At least I got to see 1/2 the show.
Poor Ed. He just makes you want to scream sometimes. "Bambi?" [smack]

They seemed to be going that way for a while last year. THAT would be cool. Although in the scant 1/2 hour i saw this week they did thier best to make her look HIDEOUS.

"I suggest 12-14 viewings of the madcap college comedy 'Road Trip'" - that line had me laughing for such an incredibly long time... was delivered so perfectly. Otherwise, was a pretty hohum ep
