The One with the Thumb
from Friends.
Although nothing big happens involving the series, this is a funny episode.
Chandler starts to smoke again. Phoebe gets money in her bank account accidentally, she gives it away to a homeless woman and the woman buys her a coke. She starts to drink and finds a thumb. She gets more money from the coke company.
Chandler explains the "friends" faults and they give one of their many sarcastic spats towards each other. Chandler walks off smoking in peace.
Phoebe says she will give Chandler her money if he stops smoking.
Ahhhh....time to go watch my Friends dvds.

And probably any episode from Mama's Family or The Simpsons.

"Welcome to the Hellmout" and "The Harvest." When you are trying to get your friends caught up with the show, you HAVE to watch the premieres. Then you meet new people, and so on, and so on...
And the "game show" episode of Friends where they bet the apartments is a fav, so I've seen it more than any other.

"the lightning round!" That episode, the thanksgiving episode where Monica wears a turkey on her head and makes Joey run off screaming in terror, and the 2001 Halloween episode (Phoebe as supergirl standing off against Monica as catwoman...and Ross as "space doody" fighting with Chandler "no bunny at all!" and declaring that he'll "prove it...prove it like a theorem!") make me literally cry from laughing so hard.
As to what tv episode I've seen the most times, that is a very difficult question - probably Charlie Brown Christmas and How the Grinch Stole Christmas, but for regular shows...man, that's hard. Probably several episodes of Seinfeld, Friends, Star Trek TOS, TNG, Brady Bunch, Bewitched, Gilligan's Island, I Dream of Jeannie, The Dick Van Dyke Show, or Family Ties. I tend to watch whatever episode is on of those shows every time I come across them, so I end up seeing whatever they air a million times.
Doesn't help that I don't pay any sort of attention to episode titles, so I have no idea what individual episodes are called to be able to tell you.
