Who thinks Conan should host every awards show?

He did a great job. Hopefully this will lead to more hosting gigs. I'd even watch the Tony awards if he hosted it.

From the little bit that I saw, he was great. I think he's a natural for the job, just a little better than the Wayans brothers (thank you, MTV).

As much as I like Conan, I don't see him getting another hosting gig ever.

Hosts are supposed to be boring.

Conan killed tonight, it's unfortunate though that he's still treated as "late night's" ugly red headed stepchild..im just glad his humor and talent were seen by millions tonight...

Too bad Triumph wasnt there...Imagine him loose in that crowd lol

Conan did a good job. but.. Is it me or did they really cut him back in the later half of the show? He wasn't doing much talking at all. strange.

He really brought some life to it. Though I do think there was a few moments when it looked like he was about to trip.

I wonder when he's next show will be so we can hear him talk about it and show some segment about it.

Hosts are usually cut back towards the end of an awards show, mostly due to the show running overtime. Last night's went an extra 10 or 15 minutes overtime as well.

I agree that Conan did a great job last night as well.

I agree, he was great. Some of his bits were fantastic. That "Love Interest" segment was great. Shandling is always funny.

Unfortunately, I didn't tune into the the Emmy's because it's typically such a bore. I wish they had hyped Conan's hosting a little bit more because I would have watched for that alone.

I wouldn't want him to host *every* awards show because that could get old, but if you split it between him and Steve Martin and/or Jon Stewart, that'd be fine. I think he definitely had some of the funniest bits I've seen on an awards show. Hopefully it will gain him some more fans. Getting Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt to do that one bit was genius!

I can't imagine they'd ever let Triumph on a network awards show after seeing him on MTV. They'd be afraid of him pissing someone off and there's no way you can tell him someone is off limits.

It wasn't quite as good as Letterman's bit on the Late Show years ago with Steve Martin called "Dave and Steve's Gay Vacation", but it was a close second. But it's damn close. Those wanting to check out the Letterman bit can find it here.

Appears to be down at the moment. Maybe it's a proxy issue here at work. But that link has worked before. The Martin bit is second from the bottom.

they did a lot of ads for him, not to mention it would be mentioned every night on his show.
