When I was around 8, my parents got hooked into Dynasty. The whole house would just stop; my parents would force me to sit and watch Dynasty with them. Obviously, I got hooked on it. Transformers and Dynasty were pretty much the only shows I watched in pre-teen years. Teen years, I didn't watch much TV at all (no TV to watch). Now it's mostly 24, Alias, a little JAG, a little friends, a lotta Scrubs, and a whole lotta DVDS

I watched 90210 and Party of Five ... hated Melrose, though. I can't remember the other shows I watched as a teen.

I was working most of my teen years (ah, the joy of a stock boy at Winn-Dixie), so I didn't get to see much TV.

Since i'm 17 now....... yes a youngin', but I just learned Malcolm is gonna start at 9 grrr........ but Sopranos > * so sorry Malcolm.

i watched 90210 starting when tiffani-amber thiessen joined the cast. i remember also watching party of five, but not until jennifer love hewitt was a regular.

Let's see, I was a teen from about 1984 through 1989.

I remember I really loved LA Law and Moonlighting.

I'm trying to remember what other shows I watched back then.

Married With Children when it began. Cosby Show, Roseanne.

I usually try and view them from behind. That way they can't do those stupid teen things like calling the police or issuing a restraining order...

There are exactly two shows in TV history that I can honestly say I'm a "fan" of (and of course they've already been mentioned). For age reference, my high school career came to its triumphant conclusion when I graduated in AD 1997.

Simpsons - For some reason, I've NEVER watched it on Sunday nights - odd, since it is emphatically not the case that I'd actually be doing something on Sunday nights. But I made it a point to catch the reruns every weekday. I think for a while there I was even recording them so I could re-watch the re-runs.

Seinfeld - Really wish I could say I discovered this show before it was "cool"; unfortunately, it was already a ratings extravaganza by the time I bothered to notice it. Once I got into it, though, I was hooked. Again, made a point to catch the daily reruns, as well as the new ones on NBC Thurs. @ 9 PM. Constantly quoted from the episodes the next day in school: I think I referenced my "sack lunch" approximately 37 trillion times the day after the English Patient episode aired.

Oh, and BoatDrinks - That's the kinda comment that makes me say "Damn! How come I didn't think of that?" Guess that's why you're a professional writer and I'm..........not.

I genuinely have no idea, but with the exception of Married With Children, I watched literally every single series Fox aired for the first two...two and a half years of its existence. Something like that. It was exceptionally rare for me to miss an episode. I have no idea why.

Thanks for the list. I don't remember my teen years too much (was smokin' a lot of grass back then), but you were a teen around the same time as I was. Wasn't it great to have lots of sex and not worry about dying from a disease?

Magnum PI-my favorite, by far, from the "teen" years (13-17).

Didn't watch much TV when I was 18 and 19 when I was away at college, but we never missed the MTV Video Countdowns on Friday nights. It was always on at parties on in the dorms, back when MTV was still about playing videos.

Oh and my mom made me watch General Hospital when I came home from school. She kept me home for the Luke and Laura Wedding.

I still haven't forgiven her. I'm serious.

My teen and pre-teen years were filled with such classics as:

Ok, stop for a second. Think about the fact that, for a brief period, the above shows were on the same night (Saturday), on the same network (CBS)

The original Must-See-TV. I remember my older sisters (who were teens at that time) and my mom watching those shows in the mid-70s. That was probably the most powerful network night ever. Hard to believe that Saturdays used to be so important in the television landscape.
