MTV VMA Performace schedule?
The only group I care to see is Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band and I figure they will either go first or last since those are typically the biggest performaces.
I hate to have to sit through all of those dang commercials waiting for a random viewing. On an off subject note, why are the awards so early this year? Normally they happen a week later, not the tail end of August.

1) You are probably right, that'll probably be the final performance. I don't think a schedule is made public, though.
2) They made it earlier because last year was so close to the 9/11 attacks, so I suppose it's a respect thing.

i hope they get bruce and company out of the way as soon as possible heh
out of everyone on the list, he doesn't seem to fit in. but hey, if you are a fan, you are a fan, nothing wrong with that.
anyway, this isn't the order (haven't been able to find anything about that), but here is everyone who is performing:
Ashanti
Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band
Sheryl Crow
Eminem
The Hives
Ja Rule
Nas
P. Diddy
Pink
Shakira
Justin Timberlake
The Vines

I swore I saw Sheryl Crow listed as a performer, but then she mysteriously "disappeared". She's not mentioned in some of the promos, so what gives?

I was just going to watch this show out of habit, but looking at that list of performers and presenters, the only person I'd really be interested in seeing is Kirsten Dunst. Oh well, it's repeated so much, I'm sure I'll see it eventually.

Dr DVD,
How about skipping the awards tonight...
We'll let you know if Bruce is beginning, 1st hour, 2nd hour, 3rd hour, finale...
And just tune in for that segment/hour during the immediate rerun afterwards or on the many reruns this weekend
