For some reason, right now the only show I'm really excited about is Buffy and I didn't even really like last season. I don't know why I'm not excited about Angel. I loved last season and it ended with a huge cliffhanger.

The show I'm probably looking forward to second-most would be The Shield, but as it has already been mentioned it won't be back for awhile.

As the new season gets closer, I'm sure I will get more excited about all the shows I watch. Too bad my second favorite drama (Once and Again) and my second favorite comedy (Family Guy) were both cancelled.

* Watching the god damn hot chick prance around that new show on ABC with John Ritter and Katey Segal about dating their teenage daughter. Man she's hot.

In no particular order:

Angel
Buffy
Firefly - just saw a new ad tonight during AI - looks AWESOME!
Alias
Gilmore Girls
Farscape (the rest of the season)
24
John Doe
Sex and the City (the rest of the season)

ok - so that was 9, but I couldn't help it.

-24 (although I can't imagine it topping last season...hell, I don't even know what the show is going to be about...I'm afraid to click on the 24 thread in TV Talk)
-Alias
-Birds of Prey (I wonder how long it'll last; I hope it's not like Dark Angel...so much promise, yeah that show sucks--even with Jessica Alba...though I still watch it because of Jessica Alba).
-Boston Public
-That new David E. Kelley show with the 3 female lawyers in San Francisco looks somewhat interesting...Kathleen Robertson and that girl from USA High give me the hot.
-Friends (just to see how it's all gonna end)
-I like The Shield, but I've missed a few episodes
-Dawson's Creek Yeah, it's not as good as it used to be, but I can't help but watch it still
-Charmed I missed the season finale because I was flying back home to Hawaii.
-College football on Saturdays
-Pro football on Sundays
-Monday Night Football

i_z, that's what you get for never being around anymore. (welcome back!)

Not sure exactly what the plot is about, but it's got the guy who played Chaucer in A Knight's Tale and Nash's best friend in A Beautiful Mind. I'll watch it just to watch him act.

Edit: No, he's really not in Firefly... see my post below.

Things sure have changed a lot since I've been gone. For instance I don't see you whoring out Frankie anymore. Man, he was like a total lackey to you. Glad to see that he had the balls to leave you and do his own thing.

Frankie no like being Static Cling's whipping boy!

The guy who played Chaucer and John Nash's best friend? That's good enough for me!

Frankie wants to be Jennifer Connelly's best friend!

Get in line, greenie.

You were gone? Where'd you go?

Static doesn't let Frankie hang out much any more now that he's a mod. I guess he thinks we won't take him seriously.

Besides, folks like you and me keep stealing the bolt-necked wonder.

Frankie mobile!

Frankie want to be much more than Jennifer's best friend... hee hee!

Oh, ew.

Frankie have needs, too!

Okay, I GET IT already! Geez.

Hello, zeusie! *waves* Me like your smiley's surfboard!

That's a toga.

Huh?

Just play along.

Toga... good!

And hey, the dude that played Chaucer & Nash's best friend is a good actor! Oh, wait... DANGIT, I'm thinking of someone else! Alan Tudyk, the guy that played Heath Ledger's skinny friend is in Firefly. This guy:

He's no Paul Bettany, which is who I was thinking of, but I'll probably tune in anyways.

I hate getting up early.

Just to clarify so that I don't upset Frankie's feelings, that's totally not it. It just got a little tiring to cut-and-paste the little guy in every time.

Wait... crap. That's a meaner reason than if it were just mod-related. Sorry, Frankie.

Although I DO think it'd look a little goofy if I was reprimanding someone, and then right afterwards, I posted

Fire bad!

I wouldn't do that. And BUD FROM JAG GOT HIS LEG BLOWN OFF?!?!?!!!? Holy crap!

DTSC, why don't you be my girlfriend, I'll treat you good. I know you hear your friends when they say you should. Cause if you were my girlfriend...

I don't think you're DTSC's type Frank n' Beans.

God must have spent a little more time on him.

Whatever man.

Do you work for CBS? I like their reality shows, but can't stand anything else on that network. I heard a lot of good things about The Guardian and I finally caught a rerun recently. It was so bad I couldn't watch the whole thing. It's not like I need another lawyer show anyway with all the David E. Kelly I watch.

Joss Whedon rocks my world so my top picks are his...Buffy, Angel and Firefly, in that order.

Then, Alias, Scrubs, Smallville and the Harry Connick Jr parts of Will & Grace .

Edited to add SNL. Mmmm...Jimmy Fallon I hope that in the absence of Will Ferrell, they don't add more Seth Myers or Jeff Richards. I couldn't stand that. They are absolutely unbearable.
