While, I like that bit from "Save Me" from Remy Zero they play for the opening credits, that lead singer's voice is annoying enough that it's hard to listen to the entire song, and most any of their other songs as well.

It annoyed me at first but i got used to it. What annoyed me even more was WB's pathetic attempt at synergy by having Remy Zero play at the school's dance in the finale. Not to mention having Pete gushing over 'em.
Jeez guys, I know you really wanna push 'em but c'mon
I was into Dido before Roswell, but i'm glad it helped promote her.

i don't really hate it that much, it just rings in my head over and over and over... like 3 hours after the show its still in my head... and the way they start the episode before the credits and they break the suspence with "SOMEBODY SAVE ME"...

Originally posted by mookiemeister I love the theme song. I guess you guys are not into grunge music. Remy Zero music style reminds me of Nirvana.
...more like the current crop of wannabe TRL rock groups on MTV.

I agree that the episode where they had Pete say that he loved Remy Zero was incredibly lame.
I don't agree that Remy Zero is just some TRL rock group. Maybe it was a bad idea for them to allow their song to be used as the Smallville theme. Once as song fo yours is a TV show theme, everyone just assumes that you are a lame band. Hell, another song of theirs, "perfect memory," was the song that closed out 90210.
I don't think Nirvana is a good comparison either. Their sound is much more mellow than that.
I'm a big Remy Zero fan, long before they had their song on any TV show. Anyone who is interested should pick up their 2nd album, Villa Elaine. There is some great stuff on there.
