So they've kept the previously booted off members away from everyone without being able to see what's going on in the house? Sort of a Big Brother isolation area without the money? I'd be hella pissed if that had happened to me regardless of whether there was a chance for me to come back or not.

Keeping them all sequestered is a neat twist.
In the previous editions, person X would go home, and watch the show, check out the live feeds and find out what was really going on in the house....now, all they'll have to go on in there final vote is what they directly saw.
But keeping everyone sequestered for soo long seems unreasonable.

Okay, I was pretty much on target with how the voting would go tonight.
The houseguest that got sent home was
.
The HoH winner is
My initial guess as to who the HoH will put up for eviction is
And the big twist to the game is
This should be fun!

But this is why the political nature of the game is so important. Jason is the one that has made nary an enemy in his approach to people and the game. Roddy has tried the nice guy approach, but his perceived "intellectual superiority" complex (mostly in his own mind) gets in the way of perceived honesty/directness. Jason is putting on an act in terms of being someone you can trust all the way through the game, and is doing wonderfully in his role of "Nice guy (tm)".

Was it just me or did Eric remind anyone else of Brad Pitt?
Not really in his looks, although at times he did look like him, but in his mannerisms, and way he talked. I especially thought when he was talking in his sleep, he was exactly like Pitt's character in 12 monkeys.
Anyhow....Chiwhore-a needs to get a beat down, or something.
Josh needs to leave this planet cuz he is damn scuzzy.
GO LISA!
and GO MARCY!...im torn between those two to win, but I want lisa to tear up the house, especially Gerry and Josh.

And I am tired of Eric, Lisa, and Chiara bagging on Gerry. The only thing he did to them was back out the first week...but nothing else. He has been perfectly sensible..so what if he makes up quotes to look smart.

i think this show has done a pretty good job for what it is. the 1st one was boring, the 2nd one was really filled with almost all crazy and/or mean people, and this one has a good balance.
i do always find it shocking that people (especially the ladies) get involved the way that they do. roddy will never date kiki outside of the house and she and her non-stop sex talk really makes her look awful. lisa is lucky there was no jordan or shannon in this house. lisa is pretty, but not really pretty. she does have a very nice body though. personality wise she goes from ok to annoying, but so do most of them. i was kind of annoyed when she complained about gerry not giving a "good enough" reason for nominating her. and i think her or kiki made a comment about how they wanted a "GOOD" person to win, not someone "BAD" like gerry. how they can even think stupid things like justifying themselves lying as ok and others doing it as bad simply amazes me.
josh isn't so bad. i don't think i'd like him in real life, but he has kind of been fun to watch. he might not be so bad if he, just once in a while, didn't talk or whine about the game and him staying in it for one more week. jeez, enough already.
marcellus just is plain himself and i like that. the gay stuff is kind of annoying, but at least he's consistant and i give him extra marks for going at tonya when she yelled at amy. it takes a whole lot of loyalty to put your ass on the line for amy.
speaking of amy, that's who i'd like back in. first off, tonya is blah with breasts bigger than gerry's head. lori is only annoying and eric would just give the couples a stronghold and i don't like it as much when people are able to separate into couples and cling to each other. it distracts from the game. kiki's sex talk is enough. so that leaves amy. she is really, really stuck up and annoying, but again, she knows who she is and she isn't fake. her prissy personality causes people to react and that makes for good tv. finally just seeing marcellus get amy back would be one of the best moments in the show's history.
roddy, hmmm. i don't mind him. but i don't care for him either. i did like him a bit more when he started to get irritated with kiki. he clearly is only paired with her for the duration of the show and isn't acting like they are going to have a future together, which would be a huge lie. i like him for being honest, but don't want him to win.
jason and danielle are perfect. what do they do that is wrong? i really like that jason is incredibly religious but never seems to push the issue on anyone. it hardly comes up. danielle is terrific. no one on these shows are perfect and her temper is pretty bad, but overall she is one of the brightest and least stereotyped minority to ever be on one of these shows.
i don't like gerry but it's not fair to put a guy like that in a house with no one in his age group or in the same place in life as he is. even if he hadn't screwed the others, he would have been mostly an outcast from the others anyway. the one thing that bothers me is that he acts so strange and he's a teacher. i wouldn't want my grade school or middle school kids taught by that guy and if he teaches high school, I feel sorry for him even more when the kids get at him in the fall for being an idiot on national tv.
i'm probably in the minority here but i'd like to see danielle win. jason if not her, then maybe marcellus, and amy 4th if the other 3 don't win.
but unlike the other 2 BB's, i actually wish it was on tv more. maybe with some more games and stuff to keep it a little light from all the lying and manipulating.
all things considered to NOT win and spend 3 weeks in Cancun, Lori has been the luckiest SOB to have been voted off one of these shows 1st. Tonya in the Turks is pretty good living too and I've been to Ixtapa and the I'm guessing that after 1 week with Amy in town, they'll have a parade (without any cheese) when she boards her plane.

Josh had to be going nuts, he was so close to getting Lisa booted, and Gerry thwarts his plan once again by booting Eric instead.
How long Jason can pull the wool over the likes of Roddy/Chiara/Lisa/Josh/Gerry.
Chiara is really a ditz.
Is Gerry really gone once he get nominated for eviction, would anyone save him with POV?
Will Lisa manifest catlike behavior when she's backed into a corner?
Can Danielle continue to be all things to all people inside the house?
Will Marcellas be able to ride the coattails of Danielle and Jason into the final 3?
Will Chiara play it safe and put up Gerry and Josh?
Can Roddy string along Chiara for the duration of his time in the house?
If Tonya comes back into the house, will Danielle switch sides and seek shelter in numbers?
If Lori comes back, will Danille seek a foxhole and seek cover?
If Amy comes back, will the cheese be depleted at a rapid pace? I think Marcellas would not want to see Amy, the other high maintenance person back into the house.
If Eric comes back, Roddy will be happier than Lisa to see him.

I wonder how they will choose who gets to go back in. Will it be one of those call in polls. Or some kind of competition between the 4. They possibly could even have the houseguests vote on who returns.

Anyone else a little angry that people get a chance to go back into the house? On one hand it's great because people will be able to stir up the pot, but come on. What's the point of being evicted if you STILL have a chance to win the game?
I can see if BB3 is only pulling in 5 million viewers and they need to shake it up but this seems weird. It'd be like in the NFL if the Broncos lost a game to the Rams only to have the referees go over to the Denver sideline and say, "Don't worry coach, your team isn't out of it yet. We'll provide you with a FIFTH quarter so you still have a chance to win."
I've watched BB since the original. BB3 is definitely fun to watch but does anyone think it's going overboard? What about the rule of no outside contact? If the people go back into the house, they don't have that same frame of mind everyone does. Their mind is fresh from being in Cancun. It just seems pointless to me. If you lose the game you simply lose the game. That's just the way the ball bounces. Why are they being allowed to win again after being evicted?

I think they need the twists to keep the contestants on their toes, not necessarialy for the viewers...
When the rules are the same for each version of these reality shows (mainly BB and Survivor), the contestants come in with preconceived strategies about how to play, and they get comfortable in the fact that they know how things are going to work...these twists make them form new strategies in the house, rather than relying on what they figured out from watching the show..more interesting TV.
Unless of course Eric get put back in the house and Amy doesn't...then I think the new twist is stupid and unfair
