I thought something was missing from this episode...and after reading this thread...I see what it is....
Kenny! I missed a season or so here...what happened? Oh my god....did they kill Kenny permanently? Those bastards!!!

Then, during the first half of the current season 6, Butters was "hired" as the new 4th friend, only to be "fired" in the last new episode before this Simpsons one. Stan, Kyle, and Cartman held a Bachelor-esque pageant to pick a new friend, while Butters became Professor Chaos.

about 75% of the time, what the episode REALLY turns out to be focused on is NOT what the promo states.
Ex. Sea-people were not mentioned in the preview for last weeks episode.
This isn't a complaint. I like it that it's more of a surprise.
