There certainly are enough of them willing to step up to the plate.

The best option with someone like Coulter is to ignore her entirely.

My jaw dropped open. And then I started to wonder, maybe she isn't really a woman.
Women like her amaze me--they bad-mouth feminism out of one side of their mouths, while they are jetting around the country and expressing their opinions in an outspoken manner. Something that they would not be able to do before the feminist movement.
I think Ann Coulter thinks she is somehow better than most women and therefore her opinion must matter more or something.

A republican president ended slavery. Would that persuade you to vote republican? I assume not. That's because you don't agree with what they've become. You can respect what the feminist movement accomplished in the past without agreeing with it's current views.

Number_One - most of the current views of feminism I don't agree with. I think they would put a hit out on me were they to hear my views.
As for this AC beyotch, looks like Jadzia and I need to have a little chat with her. Waddya say Jadzia, you up for it?

For some more liberal-media-bash-slanderous information on Coulter read this article:
http://salon.com/books/feature/2002/...ter/index.html
I have to admit after reading it and then seeing the interview - this sorority chick is a total opportunist whack job who is hell bent on twisting ***** around when it serves her own needs then slaps anyone who does the same. SCARY!
p.s. I shudder to think how many trees were sacrificed to make copies of her book - which I wouldn't even use for toilet paper.

I think Ann is probably happy with the interview according to this story at CNN.com her book went to #1 at amazon.com after the interview.

Oh my goodness. Anyone catch her on The Daily Show? I knew she was a crap-filled lunatic, but I didn't realize how far she was off her rocker. She stumbled into some legitimate issues during her interview with Couric, but she was nowhere near sanity with Stewart. Conservatives may want to put her on a leash or deport her or something.

I can't beleive all this Ann Coulter bashing by crazed, socialist jealous dvd-talkers.All the people buying her book just have to be fascists, right? The responses here just proves her point. And Dennis Prager must be a nazi because he let her host his nationally syndicated radio show today(she was great!).
There is a sample of her book at: http://www.anncoulter.org/

There was an interview of Coulter by Ted Nugent when he guest hosted on the Neal Boortz show earlier this week. When she's with sympathetic interviewers, she's less off her rocker.

Strangely, it seemed that Stewart's indifference to her insanity made her feel comfortable enough to run wild with her opinions. When she was with Couric, everyone knew there was a catfight brewing, and you could see her calculating every word in her best Bill Clinton impersonation. With Stewart, she just went off. He didn't really stop her and somewhat mockingly encouraged her, and she just kept going. It makes you wonder if she really believes this stuff or is mugging for the camera like a heel in the WWE, knowing that it will sell books.

Disagree with the opinions of others as much as you like. But, another comment calling those with differing opinions things like this will result in administrative action.

This whole thread just proves Ann Coulters point that when liberals are out of arguments they resort to personal attacks like little children in a sandbox slinging mud at each other instead of engaging in a civilized discussion.
dead:
I was not commenting on a specific person, rather the tone of this thread as a whole.
So let me get this straight,it is ok to post comments like these:
Norm de Plume:
Josh-da-man:
Jason:
rfduncan:
das Monkey:
but if i make a comment on the collective thread "this will result in administrative action"Ok,i don't know if you all are crazed socialists(I knew i was going to get a reaction out of someone)but there seems to be some jealosy of this best selling author around here.
I did not start this thread but felt compelled to answer the personal attacks on my friend Ann Coulter, who i know to be in excellent mental health.

Ann "To the right of Attilla The Hun" Coulter is the one who needs the bitch-slap. She's revolting.
Couric pretty much took the nutjob apart
Anne Coulter is an obnoxious, anorexic idiot. She needs to stop writing books and **** off back to her sorority house.

Ann Coulter is no further to the right than people like Jesse Jackson are to the left, except Jackson's revered in the media, and Coulter is made fun of.

I can't tell if the assumption that we are all liberals because we think she's a loudmouth opportunist is closer to absurd or ridiculous. Maybe it's both. Calling a spade a spade isn't hollow name-calling in the face of the overwhelming evidence to that fact. And her (your) assertion that liberals are the only ones that call names is nicely refuted by nearly every word in her book that from cover to cover is nothing but a thesaurus of name-calling.
WildcatLH,
Jessie Jackson is as bad as she is. He's probably worse, since he's one of the loudest voices in the Black community and consequently, some people actually listen to him. I hope your opinion that he's revered in the media is mistaken. I've always imagined him as laughable as AC, but because he's a respected Black leader (by some), it's harder to call him out and treat him as the parasite that he is. To quote Darryl Hammond: ibbidy dibbity, dibbity doo. That may be the most intelligent thing the man has ever said.
They're crazy on all sides. AC's just the one running her yapper and mugging for the camera right now, so she gets the thread.
Give it some time. We've had "Jessie Jackson's a Crazy Sumbitch" threads before ... we'll have more.

I'm not sure who the bigger idiot is, Ann or Katie. Ann Coulter has a brilliant mind but she, like Camille Paglia, unfortunately uses it just for her own benefit. Katie Couric is about as journalistic as Ann Landers.
It was fun watching Coulter dance around Phil Donahue's questions about her being an anti-Semite, something suggested by David Brock in his last book. Coulter had a great comeback..."Well, maybe the Muslims might like me better now." Of course, she denied the accusations.
If I had to choose to have lunch with one of these women I would take Coulter anyday, even though most of what she says is just spin, her politics are incredibly extreme and her idea that mythology is the cure for all the world's ills is very, very funny. But she's so anti-feminist that I bet she would expect me to pay for lunch.
And isn't Alain Delon, the actor, a socialist? I do know he is an ex-heroin addict and a bisexual, deadbeat father (watch the documentary "Nico-Icon"). Strange handle to pick for a conservative, IMHO.

McCain's Daughter: Ann Coulter Is a "Train Wreck"
The daughter of former GOP presidential candidate Sen. John McCain bashed the Republican Party for being "as hip as Donny Osmond" and cited "radical" GOP cheerleaders like Ann Coulter as the problem.
Meghan McCain ripped Coulter for being "a train wreck" and called her the "biggest culprit" when it comes to perpetuating the negative stereotype of Republicans in her most recent blog post for the Daily Beast.
"I straight up don't understand this woman or her popularity," McCain wrote. "I find her offensive, radical, insulting and confusing all at the same time."
McCain charged that Coulter's outlandish statements are nothing more than a gimmick that turns off young people to the Republican Party -- which is "about as edgy as Donny Osmond," she writes.
"Everything about her is extreme: her voice, her interview tactics, and especially the public statements she makes about liberals," McCain wrote. "Maybe her popularity stems from the fact that watching her is sometimes like watching a train wreck."
McCain's lamentation of being an up-hip GOPer in the shadow of President Obama -- "the hippest politician around" -- in tangible throughout the story and though she acknowledges that being cool is no reason to join a party she says it proves her party is out of touch.
"Granted, being 'hip' is not a reason to join a political party, or a reason to agree with its ideals," she wrote. "But it is a way to get the attention of a generation -- or, more specifically, my generation."
