You know what would suck......If Seinfeld were to return to TV and suffer the Curse of the former Seinfeld stars.......
Now.....Film the pilot, and get Michael Richards, Julia L-Dreyfus, and Jason Alexander to star in it, then maybe you have something.......Wouldn't NBC be just peeved if the entire cast were to return on another network.....
I really could see the old regulars doing cameos, at least......

Those "Letters from a nut" book are great. I picked up the first one after I was Jerry reading some of it on Leno (no idea why I was watching Leno, though). He may just be the author of those.
Either way, I don't see a chance in hell that Jerry Seinfeld will ever be a star or a regular in a sitcom ever again. He knows he went out on top, and will only diminish his legend if he tries it. He may, though, executive produce, or contribute to the writing or other creative process of a show. That is my guess.

people keep talking about the seinfeld curse but what about "curb your enthusiasm"? that show is the closest to seinfeld. it may not have a regular actor but it has larry david, who was co creator and had cameo roles in episodes.

"Letters From A Thief" is more like it.
There was a book called "The Lazlo Letters" YEARS before this one. It was written by the guy who used to play Father Guido Sarducci on SNL. It was EXACTLY the same thing. Exactly.
Maybe, just maybe, it's the same guy using a fake name. I hope so. Otherwise, it's nothing but a knockoff.
