I fell to the floor while the music played and Homer backed all the way from the Kwik-E-Mart to his bedroom.

Little things like this is what makes The Simpsons one of the best shows on television.

Also all the Krusty bits were great.

North vs. South vs. East.

Come on no fans of "you can run, but you can't glide."
Or, how bout "they better or else, pow pow pow"
( I didn't know how to spell the sound, so I just used pow, pow, pow)

The show is going to set a record this season for the greatest number of self-references and insider jokes in TV history.

Exactly. This episode had so much going for it and it followed through on every one. [Starting with the chalkboard...]

It was a reference to Wild Wild West.

I cracked up when Homer walked backwards the first time.

When he jumped backwards on the ladder and you could hear the stair thumps over the credits . . . man, there have been very few times the Simpsons has made me laugh that hard. And I love the show.

I wish they'd have Barney fall off the wagon. He was much funnier as a lush.

"No, that's the stage we call Professor Barney."

Best episode in a while.. That was really funny mateial

Speaking of The Simpsons, Dan Castellaneta was on a local rock station this morning. He was just answering questions about the process of the show and he did a couple voices too. No word on whether there'll be a Simpsons movie yet though =\

Great episode.

My favorite line is the one that everyone probably got sick of in all the promos for the show..

But when I actually heard it in the episode, it had me rolling.

"Scracth and win!"

And of course the whole badmitton game.

I loved the new lawyer character - he was no replacement for Phil Hartman's Lionel Hutz - but he was funny nonetheless.

Does anyone remeber some of his lines verbatim?

Something about Comic Book Guy pouring nacho cheese over donuts had me laughing.

Can't believe nobody posted my favorite line in the episode.
