L&O: SVU 3/29 (Cabot's got cajones!!!)

Good grief... she got attached to this case...

... and basically, I think she (Cabot, the ADA) got off easy... one month suspension without pay, for...
Spoiler:
...having Benson and Stabler search that home with out a warrant and against the mother's wishes... at least that guy got it in the end! He'll be put away for a long time...

By the way, did you like the way that Ice-T chased that guy out of the bus station and threw 'em up against the wall... I knew I liked his character!

A little outrageous, but a good episode nonetheless...

"She sounds like I killed her dog or something." - Cabot, after getting chewed out by the judge...

Now no one start with me on screwing up the title of the thread... I always get it mixed up...

she'd be getting sued so bad, same with the police department and city of NY
that's a violation of the 4th amendment
no way she'd keep her job, if nothing else she'd be fired by the DA's office to try to keep from getting sued

I like the cabot character... she has guts unlike the another ADA in the Wednesday show.

The plot was good but ... you mean to tell me they could not find another victim when this guy has molested so many .... ???

Does anyone know the character that Judith Light (Angela on Who's the Boss?) plays on the show ... is she recurring? I really like the confrontational character she played on this episode.

Not if the mom calms down and decides she likes the outcome and the search was consensual after all. Cabot successfully argued the perp had no standing in the matter of the search. In real life, the mom would come around, happy that the guy who messed up her kid is in jail. Once she comes around, the "crime" is over.
