Man loses conciousness during game show taping

Who want's to bet that the game show was Fear Factor? I'm not sure why the story didn't give the name of the show, but I cannot think of any other show where you would want to hold your breath for 2 1/2 minutes.

It's gotta be Fear Factor.
1. They do tape at night (just this week they had a nighttime underwater event).
2. They have underwater events (see above).
3. They air on NBC (which would explain why MSNBC is covering up the name of the show).

I think this was the show that NBC showed on Monday night. Sorry, my link above does not work anymore, so I don't have the original story. But for those of you that saw Dog Eat Dog this last Monday, you will notice that there were only 4 people in the dogpound at the end. The one guy, I think his name was Darin lost the final challenge for holding his breath underwater. The last shot of him was when he was out of the pool and he had a couple of guys around him.
In the closing credits it stated that he choose not to participate in the final question and answer, due to their being a lag in production dates between the water / breath challenge and the question & answer at the end of the game.
I could be wrong, but it just might make sense.

Yeah, I was wondering where the guy went. I had it Tivo'd and noticed he wasn't in the dog pound at the end. At first I thought it was because he was injured, so I rewound it to see what I missed. It just made a brief mention that he chose not to participate. They show him alive and breathing and he didn't appear to be injured. I assumed at the time that it was because of his ego (he had a major ego all throughout the show). But after seeing this thread, I'd agree that this was the guy.
