H.P. Lovecraft's From Beyond?
looks like total crap. was flipping through the channels and saw a few minutes of it
sci-fi is really going down the tubes
At least Jeffery Combs' career didn't end with this steaming pile

Sci-Fi has been dead for years. Other than the MST3K reruns I never watch it. Every new series they start is worse than the last. The worst part is its such a great idea for a network. If they could just get some decent programing though.

"crap on Sci-fi"
Isn't that redundant now? It seems more and more that shows like "Farscape" were flukes. And I won't even get into how good the programming was at one time.

Farscape is still a good show. Now everything else they keep is another story. The only other good show on at the moment (The Chronicle) they cancel. Actually that was the only other original show they still had left except farscape.

Here's hoping that someone else will pick up the baton that the SciFi channel dropped. I knew it was over for them when TNN got ST:TNG, STS9, and ST:V, plus all the movies without SciFi even trying.

The channel seems to be trying to kill itself. Whenever they get a show with promise or better yet, a following, they kill it. Sliders, GvsE(I liked it), Invisible Man, Chronicle, MST:3k to name a few. And now I have to endure that HUGE Firestater logo at the bottom of all of their shows for the next week.

Farscape needs to escape to syndication a.s.a.p.

From everything I've heard, Canada's "Space" channel is everything Sci-Fi should be. But in this day and age of tv, I doubt there's any chance of getting "Space" down here, and if we ever get it- they'll find a way to screw it up.

I wonder if them killing themselves is proof of what people have told me: Sci-Fi will dump most of the sci-fi programming and become "The Adventure Channel" (I read that on yahoo too, but I can't find the link now so don't take this as fact.)

Yeah, but with who? TNN? Look at what they did with ST:TNG.
UPN/WB? A lot of people either can't get the station, or they get it and it looks like crap. TNT? We'd spend more time watching pop up ads that tells us what's next than the actual show. Don't get me wrong, I'd love tto be able to see it on a regular basis but good options seem limited. My ideal place would be one of the pay stations like HBO, or Showtime-even though not everyone subscribes and it's not very likely.
