ok, i thought that it was a pretty good episode. for some reason, i especially liked the stuff in vegas moreso then the usual settings. maybe it was the skimpy silver costume
anyway, it will be interesting to see what happens with the whole will thing next week. oh yeah, i wonder how they are eventually going to get vaughn and sidney together?

After sitting through a boring WWA PPV, it was a pleasure to flip over to my Tivo and watch tongiht's "Alias" episode.
Now that's entertainment. The preview for the next ep looks great.

Looks like Alias had the balls to go head-to-head with the closing ceremonies of the Winter Olympics.
Another fun-filled episode, with more advancement of the Will Tippett storyline, Francine gets the low down on Charlie, Sidney finally hears Vaughn tell her that he's basically attracted to her, Sidney's dad sort of convinces Sidney to stay in grad school. Oh, and she's strung up on a cable between buildings being shot at when she's caught doing surveillance on a deal going down between K-directorate and "The Man"s right hand man for the Rimbaldi manuscript. Gotta love the cliff-hangers!

I enjoyed it as well. I liked how they slowed down every so often to do the character bits to flesh everyone out a bit.
This has unseated Buffy as my favorite show.
Scott Foley is one lucky guy.

I enjoyed this episode a lot. It was a return to past episodes as there were various subplots happening at the same time - don't get me wrong, I liked "The Box" parts I and II - but this just seemed to be 'classic' Alias (classic...only14 episodes
). As for Will....I don't know what we're going to do with him and the Train/Observatory scenes with Syd and Vaughn were really good - Vaughn finally put out his attraction to her.
As for the grad school storyline, it's nice to see her stay in school, but when does she ever go to classes? She's always in Crete/Vegas/Russia, etc. But she still has time to write an A paper. I was guessing that perhaps another reason she could stay in school is so that she could become a teacher and see Vaughn on the outside, but that would pretty much ruin the whole Alias plot.
There's other things I could go into, but I'll leave it at that for now... (as you can tell - I'm quite a fan of this great show: http://sd-6.com)...

As of this episode, Alias is now a better show than Buffy the Vampire Slayer -- in fact, it's now one of the best shows on television. Can't wait to see how this whole arc with the Rambaldi artifacts and "The Man" will play out. SD-6's rivals have been taken out or weakened, so it seems like it will be them and the CIA against this new player.
Anyone want to speculate on what Rambaldi's big secret is?

Guys, start watching 24 if you want an even better action drama!

Now to the episode, it was pretty good because of the more attention they paid to the characters, but I still find it pretty bad when it comes to the real action:
The _director_ of K-Directorate comes to that meeting and after all the years he's been in business he doesn't _get_ it that he will be killed (or at least attacked) if he doesn't accept the offer. I guess you can blame it on his pride,
but he's also supposed to be a pro that surely knew he's dealing with the guys that took out FTL (I think) and probably even that they almost got SD6.
It spoils the show for me to see them portrayed so naively as cartoon bad-guys.
Also, give me a machine gun and I guarantee in over 30 seconds of shooting I will hit Sydney for you while she swings on that rope... I mean... come on!
