The barbs from Kelly and Brandon and the insults from old Kim and Ethan directed at Tom and Brandon respectively were the highlight of a rather dull climax to a dull season. Frankly, who really cares what qualities they think is necessary to "survive" this game. The truth does come out in the end.

What they should have done is poll the jury on who they would have picked if Lex was Kim's obstacle to the money rather than Ethan. Although Kim gave reasons for the group siding with Lex , it's a good bet that they would have voted differently if Kim had not eliminated him.

C'est la vie. The end to a rather forgettable season. The producers had better make great improvements in the next season. Back to an island. Since the place is so lush, they shouldn't have too much problem getting something to eat. No drinking water and no fire could be a little difficult.

If the match-up was Lex vs. Kim J, the vote would have been the same with only Kelly and Kim P voting for Kim J (They were asked on the Morning Show).

Though the CBS execs may has asked Ethan to start growing back his beard 39 days before this past Thursday, they didn't tell him NOT to lift weights. I just reviewed the final segment where they announced the winner, and Ethan now has some pretty big arms nowadays.

I may have missed two episodes (around the switch time), but I don't remember any mention of Brandon being gay by him or anyone else on that show (and I was shocked to find out that he was)
In the episode before the first episode of Survivor, i.e. the episode where they introduce the contestants, they just outright said that he was gay.

That's why I knew the whole season, even though from his behavior, you'd never know it.

This was certainly the most satisfying Survivor ending for me, though I thought this season was much easier than the previous two. I'm glad next season there's no food/water/fire.

I remember last year, they talked about possibly doing a celebrity Survivor. Ray Romano and the guy on King of Queens both said they were game for it. Don't think anything's become of it though. Boy, wouldn't that be great, though?

P.S. Cool link to maps of the places where Survivor has been:
