I pretty much do also. For example, my favorite season of Friends is Season 5 when they are hiding it from everyone then it was funny when Joey was actually able to put two and two together that fast with the eyelash curler thing. And then when Phoebee found out that was hilarious "chandler and monica... Chandler and Monica.... CHANDLER AND MONICA!!!!!" hehe. But, yes, Chandler and Monica are my favorite friends. Least favorite would be Ross.

They are the worst right now. They were great in the season where they hid the relationship, but after that, they made me sick. Can't stand them.

Don't worry, I'm still enjoying it as well. Last season was a little weak, but I think they've rebounded this year. I do vote for NO relationship between Joey and Rachel.
Another vote, here, for Friends being a terrific, top notch quality show. 27 million other people seem to think so as well. I also think it sagged quite a bit last year, but this season has been fantastic. The Rachel and Ross having sex on video rerun last night was one of the best shows they've ever done. My single, male friends all call themselves Ken Adams now!

I've also heard that it is Schwimmer who most wants the show to end. I don't know that what I've read or heard is any more credible than anyone else's info, but he has said several times he wants to lose the "Ross" character. Jennifer may just win herself a Golden Globe this year. She has been terrific. I know she can probably do anything in movies now, but she seems VERY loyal. I think she'd be happy to stay if the other 5 wanted to also.

I think the Rachel thing with Joey might happen, but not sex. Yea, the whole, "she's pregnant" thing would make it kind of extra gross, but the show has been doing so well I don't see them pissing of so many people by having them get serious. That would seem unlike the kind of thing Joey would do to Ross. Unless, this is it and they make Ross happy with that very hot blonde (Mona?) he's dating.

That would leave poor Phoebe as the only Friend without a mate.

This season is much better than the last several years have been. I don't know what show these naysayers have been watching but FRIENDS is fun again.

There's no doubt there will be a 9th season.

That could EASILY be corrected with very little creative writing. Hank Azaria's character could return from Minsk and sweep her off her feet OR Charlie Sheen's naval guy could return from out of nowhere and wisk her away too. You know how passionate and whimsical Phoebe can be... they could have her married and gone in less than a 3 minute scene!

As for Ross - ADIOS pal! In the immortal words of Rachel he "lifts right out."

The full description for the Joey + Rachel episode:

The One Where Joey Dates Rachel

Spoiler:
WILL RACHEL BECOME EVEN MORE CHUMMY WITH OL' PAL JOEY? -- In order to prepare Joey (Matt LeBlanc) for his big date the next night, Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) eagerly agrees to step out with him for a rare night on the town, but when each is pleasantly surprised with their newfound compatibility, they begin to regard each other in a way no one could have predicted. Meanwhile, a beaming Chandler (Matthew Perry) racks up a record number of points on Monica's (Courteney Cox Arquette) new Mrs. Pac-Man game machine -- but his three-letter ID might prove too offensive when young Ben (guest star Cole Mitchell Sprouse) visits. In addition, Ross (David Schwimmer) finally is allowed to teach an honors class but its cross-town location means he must break land speed records just to get there on time. Lisa Kudrow also stars.

Not exactly sure what the writers were thinking with this Joey/Rachel thing. I hope it's just marketing hype. It might get people to watch one episode, but long term I think it's a horrible idea.
