Any Hank Hill Fans?

I love this show. I was lukewarm to it when it first came out, mainly because The Simpsons was at its peak. It's not being syndicated and the earlier epsiodes are truly excellent. There's an episode where they actually parody 12 Angry Men! Anyway, I'm not sure if this show has much of a fanbase, at least on the Internet anyway, but just seeing if anyone else is a fan. I tell you what.

I watch it. Some may find it boring but I think it's hilarious in its own subtle way.

I used to hate this show, but the characters grew on me. It's a rare show because they rarely do stuff on the show that a REAL sitcom couldn't. And they pullit off so well. The deserved the emmys they stole from the Simpsons.

I was a bigger fan until Fox hired some lawyers to harass me until I took my fansite down. I've been lured in by the syndicated episodes. I've always loved Dale, but my site was a tribute to the wisdom of Boomhauer.

Hank and the gang are great.

Dale is too cool!

I think this is a great show. Originally Boomhauer was my favorite character, but Bobby is the best. He cracks me up. "I'm driving the hell outta this truck."

I've loved King of the Hill since it came on TV. I thought what we've been seeing of it this season was not as good as in the past, but the special Wednesday episode with the kidnapping had me rolling on the floor. Hopefully they'll keep it up for the rest of the year.

King of the Hill is one of my favorites. I watch the midnight reruns on Fox New York.

I like it. I wouldn't say I'm the biggest fan of the show, but it does make a great addition to the Fox Sunday Night cartoon line up.

It's on every day here (Toronto) at 11:30 pm, so it is in syndication.

KotH is frequently the highlight of my Sunday night viewing. With Simpsons on such a downslide and Futurama being pre-empted so often, it's often a toss-up between KotH and Malcom.

I found the season openers for the last 3 years absolutely wonderful, setting a tone for the remainder of the season.

I'm sorry, that was a typo, "not" = "now".

Today was the second part of Peggy falling out of an airplane. Pretty good episode!

I really liked this show when it first came on, but Fox kept moving it around and I haven't been able to watch it in quite some time. They always move their best shows to nights that I cannot watch them. They did the same thing with That 70's Show and Titus.

Ditto. I haven't seen it much since Sundays, but I watch the reruns every once in a while, it's a very clever show though, though it could be simply redneck humor, the people on that show haven't gone that route, and have made it very clever. Congrats to them, I really respect that.

The creator of King of the Hill is the one responsible for the very popular Office Space. The humor is very similar.

And don't forget he did Beavis & Butthead as well. Hank's voice is the same as the balding old neighbor on B&B. It's sad, close your eyes during B&B Do America whenever he talks, and it's Hank.

Yeah, it's fairly obvious that it's him. I think they looked similar too... I was never a huge fan of Beavis and Butthead, though I did find the movie pretty damn funny.

Beavis and Butthead always got a bad rap. Their making fun of videos was usually the best part of the show, and if you watched MTV a lot, the stuff they had to say was hilarious. The stories were never that good though. I did laugh my ass off at one of the first episodes where they go to a monster truck rally and the hippy (later becomes teacher) gets run over. The voice of the teacher in BB is also the "flair boss" in Office Space and I believe he does voices in King of the Hill too. Mike Judge is ****ing brilliant.

B&B were responsible for lowering the rock group WINGER'S cd sales...I think their record company actually asked Judge to stop having Stewart(the fat little nerd friend) wear WINGER t-shirts.

I love the King of the Hill. I have been taping them since the beginning and would love to see them on dvd. It would be great listening to a comentary by "hank hill and the gang." The only problem is that I have been so busy lately that I have only seen a few of the new ones from this season. I'm gonna have to find a long afternoon soon, pop in the vhs, and check out the entire season.

one of my favorite episodes is when Hank and the guys volunteer for the fire department then burn it down
and also when Kahn moves in:

Kahn: " I am Laotion"
Bill: "You're from the ocean?"

Yes it is. It is running in syndication on my local UPN station (Pittsburgh, PA). He and Raymond are on all the city's buses advertising it.

I like it. At first I put off watching this show. I was thinking like, I rather watch the Simpsons instead. I gave it a try and enjoy the show now.
Starting Monday in SA, well later today, fox will be airing it twice a day at 5 and 6pm every weekday. So I'll be watching King of The Hill, then Simpsons, and King of The Hill again. Now if only they could add Futurama to that lineup, I'll be a happy man. I can pretend that its Sunday.
