Luke (Scott Foley?) was on Will and Grace last Thursday. He must be in that weird hair implant stage because it's pretty obvious that he wears the hat for most of the time to cover them up.

Luke (Scott Foley?) was on...

Scott Patterson plays Luke on Gilmore Girls. Scott Foley plays Noel on Felicity. Better watch it or they'll threaten to ban you from this thread again.

(BTW, yet another Scott- Scott Speedman- plays Ben on Felicity)

Accordingly, Chad Michael Murray (who plays Tristan) will have a couple more guest spots on Dawson's Creek, and may or may not have more guest spots on Gilmore Girls. The reason why he is written out of these two shows is because he has signed a contract to star (lead) in an upcoming WB's pilot for Tarzan, kinda like Smallville, about a teenage Tarzan. Let's hope it gets picked up for next season.
Plus, I like the new love triangle tension between Jess, Dean and Rory. Yes, Jess and Rory will have an intimate moment together. Milo Ventimiglia, who plays Jess, does a fine job. He definitely looks different (and mature) from his Opposite Sex days back on the FOX channel.

Bump from the dead for tonight's Gilmore Girls rerun. The episode is "Red Light on the Wedding Night," when Sookie throws a wedding shower for Lorelai, but a phone call to Christopher makes her reconsider Max. So much drama!

If there wasn't a new buffy on tonight (and if I hadn't already seen this 3 times on video already) this is what I'd be watching tonight. It's one of my favorite episodes so far.

plus the brief shot of

Okay, I just got around to watching my recording of "Gilmore Girls." And WOW, did Rory look good at the bachelorette party.
That hair! And something about women in dresses. Whoo.
New episode in two weeks! Yeah!
Fire bad!
Edit: Just got done watching 1/10/02's ER, and Paris was on there! As

Gilmore Girls, 2/5
Well, fell asleep at 7:30 tonight after a long night last night, and ended up missing the first half of Gilmore Girls. Nobody tell me what happened, because I can catch what I missed on the VCD download I get every week. (Hint, two people post each episode on alt.binaries.multimedia, one in VCD, one in SVCD. Also available in a certain dalnet irc channel..)
From what I did see and know previously about the episode, I was glad to see Jackson and Sookie get engaged. No high-fives for Rory--the situation she's walking blindly into spells lots of trouble (no props to Jess either for initiating). And don't we all just wish Luke and Lorelai would get together already?
Anybody else notice that tonight's episode looked different than the previous ones? Looked like they switched film stocks or something.. had a much richer look to it (maybe I'm nuts).
Discuss!
(BTW: I have been downloading all the previous episodes on VCD to catch up, and once I get all of season 1, I plan on posting them on a.b.multimedia, so stay tuned if you have to catch up on episodes like me.)

I really thought this was a quality episode. Talking about Ayn Rand and other things of course made me smile, except that it was Rory to this new guy. I wasn't impressed at all with Rory doing this, but I think it'll add some neat things -- plus she is young and making bad decisions is a part of being young. The engagement made me happy.
all told a good episode!

Luke and Lorelai
I loved that he knew exactly what was inside of her basket.
(was it pop tarts and slim jims?) I wish they would just get it over with. I guess if they get married some would feel there was nothing else left to do but there is life after saying 'I do'.

The comic highlight of the episode, Suki asking Jackson if he was pregnant.
The show did look "different" this episode but I pretty much figured it was cuase they were outside for almost the entire episode, very little of the homestead, Luke's, Chilton, or the Mama Gilmore's house.
I may be alone on this, but I kinda like the Jesse/Rory thing, not as a couple but as friends I think it works very well. There obviously attracted to each other intellectually which I think they've shown that Rory and Dean don't share that same attraction. Dean's much more of a statue...hulking and brooding. Jesse's been hyped up to be this bad boy character..whatever, but I do think he's a lot deeper than Dean and more interesting.
And I've thought about this to much.

I like the Jess/Rory thing.
Dean is a great guy, and he's wondeful to Rory but I think Jess is a better match for her. He's smart and shares a lot of Rory's interests. Sure, he's sort of a "bad boy" but people grow out of that. There's no way Dean's going to grow, intellectually, at Rory's pace, and she needs someone who will.

Gilmore Girls, 2/12
Remember to watch the new GG tonight, 8pm on WB.
#214: It Should've Been Lorelai
Lorelai and Rory are stunned when Rory's father, Christopher (recurring guest star DAVID SUTCLIFFE), brings his new girlfriend, Sherry (MADCHEN AMICK - "Twin Peaks"), to Stars Hollow. Sherry makes it obvious that she wants to build a meaningful relationship with Rory. Meanwhile, when Emily learns about Sherry, she becomes furious with Lorelai for failing to win Christopher back.

Now that Once & Again is about gone, I'll have to call the Gilmores my favorite program currently on. Why this doesn't get any writing awards is beyond me. The dialogue is smart, funny and mile-a-minutes (I understand the scripts are about 80 pages compared to a normal 60 pages for a 1 hour show).
The big problem is they can't decide whether it is a Comedy or a Drama. At the Golden Globes, Ally McBeil and Ed were comedies while GG was a drama. Don't understand that one.

Last night's ep had one of the funniest lines I've ever heard on TV. Sometimes it's a little overkill on how the parents don't get modern culture, but this was classic:
Richard, Emily, Lorelai and Christopher are discussing Christopher's new Volvo...
Lorelai:And it's great for cranking Metallica!
Richard:Cranking Metallica? If that's some kind of drug reference, Lorelai, it's not funny.

The writers were totally goofing on themselves when they had Paris obsess over the WPM rate of debates because this show features some of the highest WPM dialogue on TV nowadays.
I thought Madchen Amick was totally a hottie (loved her ever since her Twin Peaks days). Chris has good taste.
I thought Lorelai was going to beg Chris to take her and dump Amick's character, but she went the other way, and Chris was right to blast her for the massive emotional dump she just laid her his relationship doorsteps. Good for him.
I was totally LOL when Lorelai forget to tell her assistant that the CD drop for Lane was at 10 a.m., not 9 p.m. so he was jogging for an hour extra. *Chuckle*
