This show is certainly picking up. Ever since the mental hospital episode, I've been on my toes. The tension is rising every episode - for once the "Felicity" moments didn't interfere with the rest of the story. One stickler - how many times has Sydney gotten out of a situation by playing dumb or asking where the bathroom is? That seems to be the new "running down the corridor" gimmick

yeah i would have to agree that this was a pretty good show. week after week this seems to be getting a little better, although there were a couple of weeks in there where it kinda lagged. sidney looked pretty good in that dress in tuscany.
i am looking forward to next week, where there seems to be lots going on.
oh yeah, is it just me or does sidney seem to cry alot? for a secret agent one would think that she has more resolve.

I too thought it was a great episoide but
Thrush, yes the thought had crossed my mind.
And I like Sidney's outfit in the preview for next week's episode
She looked great in the bathtub in this one.

I'm curious to see how they get her out of this, and how they plan to do a second season. I'd be interested in seeing what they do for the future. A great show though...

I really love this show -- much more exciting than the overhyped "24", though I'll still watch that for Kiefer.
However, "Alias" has really dropped in the ratings, so I'm not even sure there WILL be a "next season". . .
As for the "Felicity moments", I think that's what makes "Alias" interesting -- the contrast between Sydney's adrenaline-pumping job, then the "everydayness" of the life she returns to. Her "normal life" takes on additional resonance when you know what she has just experienced on her "trip".
