Alias 12/9/01 - Spoilers Ahoy!

Pretty good episode, with the paranoia level on "high".

Will's so unintentionally funny in some respects with that bug he found.

I knew Sloan's communicade was bait for the CIA. Good thing Jack caught wind of it and did the research.

Sidney's goose looks to be cooked, but someway she'll get out of it.

Perhaps Dixon might be able to be turned later, since he owes his life to the real CIA.

I like the double switch they pulled. First they give you the bone of Sloan thinking she's a mole, and like you, I figured it was a set-up. But then later on to hit us with more reason for them to think she's the mole ... well done. I didn't expect the second one so quickly. I figured they'd somehow think Dixon was the mole. Guess not.

P.S. I'm posting in here, since this thread was started first (people seem to ignore this) and the other thread is a sea of black, so I don't know what's going on.

First off, it's great to see so many Alias fans. I'm really pulling for this show to be a huge success long-term.

Second: I think we're all expecting (perhaps some of us, deep down, hoping...) that Will's gonna get the double tap. This show seems to be very good at defying our expectations, so do you think that the writers are leading us down the path here? I think they're going to keep Will around. My guess is that SD-6 is going to pull him in and scare the bejeesus out of him, and have him report back on Syd's activities (and if he screws up, he gets to join Danny). C'mon Will-haters - wouldn't seeing him squirm on the hook like that be much more fun?!

Third: And, please, somebody give me an Amen (and if this has been discussed, then please forgive me...), but what is the deal with the whole "coming up on Alias" as a bumper for the commercials? ABC: I'm hooked. I'm your bitch. I'm not going to change the channel. What's with the spoilers?!

Don't worry, you didn't miss much by not reading the spoiler tags in that thread. One was used to let us know that the poster didn't like Will and wished he'd be killed off - not a spoiler, an opinion.

Another one was about how the promo tried to fool us last week by saying the target's name was Bristo (leaving it open to be Sydney or her father) - a spoiler only for those who hadn't seen the episode that the thread was about.

However, a few other are pontental spoilers (depending on if a certain theory winds up being true or not) so no complaints there.

And speaking of spoilers- AMEN! get rid of those 'coming up...' spots. What's the point of those?

I like those "coming up...." bumps. No way I'm gonna touch the remote. But then again I've got ReplayTV and skip over the commercials anyway.

The "comin' up" things are lame lame lame. This isn't NBC folks ... the very fact that we're watching means that we have a higher attention span than that of a newt. We don't need silly crap like this to keep us tuned in. Notice how half of those "comin' up" things are from previous scenes anyway. Real insulting to the viewer.

Good episode! That was one of the more intense episodes of the season...

I'll admit that I hate Will. I wish they'd just kill him already, but I highly doubt that.

Also, I don't think Dixon will turn into a double agent anytime soon. They already have 2 (that we know of), so that's enough for now.

That lie detector test guy is scary! He plays the role of mole sniffer-outer very well!
