The Final Word on spoiler tags! (maybe)
Okay, I saw a bunch of reasons why or why not to use spoiler tags to avoid spoiling it for everyone, but I didn't ONCE see anyone complaining about accidentally going into a show thread with a date on it and 'unexpectedly' saw a spoiler they didn't want to see.
As many people said, you would have to be beyond moronic to not realize there will be spoilers in there.
Someone else nicely summed it up - it's a solution to a non-existent problem!
So to avoid confusion, I'll just state it - just write the tv show and date. End of discussion. (Unless someone objects to accidentally SEEING a spoiler this way.) Not like anyone's doing otherwise, except for Patman .
Some guy a long time ago said it best, "If we had to overcome all objections before we set out to do something, nothing would ever get done."
