Unfortunately, with a show like this, I spent the whole hour thinking ... I bet it's the chick in the wheelchair. They'll probably find some way to make it her. I'm half serious and half joking. And then bam ... there it is ... and I'm not shocked.

My wife said exactly the same thing. I'll bet she did it , she said,

Spoiler:
when she saw the wife rolling into the courtroom in a wheelchair.
I was not thinking it because I assumed she had medical records to prove she couldn't walk.

I mean, the police WOULD verify she was paralysed wouldn't they?

She's the wife of the victim. No 1 prime suspect.

Or, am I wrong?

My God, my first spoiler tag and I got it right!

Yeah this is what I thought too when I saw Bobby feeding him. I was like, "Hey, the somebody heard the DVDTalkers asking about the kid/s!".

I think once the police convinve themselves they know who did it, they become preoccupied with proving it and don't look carefully at contradictory evidence unless it hits them in the face. Maybe Bobby should have been checking it out, but he thought he had enough surprise ferreting out the secretary.

It's so friggin' cheesy though. Why the hell would she risk exposure walking around in public after the verdict? I had a feeling she might not really be paralyzed either around the time she rolled into the client briefing room after Bobby's "stunt."

Will they follow up with this? I remember the episode when "Prince Humperdinck" was found guilty of being The Poet serial killer (Episodes 2.19 & 2.20, 2/9/98 & 2/16/98). I recall his wife having a wicked grin after the verdict. Maybe I read too much into it, but there was never any follow-up. I had a feeling he had been framed.

i'm still waiting for them to tie up the loose end in the episode where the black chick lawyer needed a blood tranfusion, but she was in a coma and couldn't approve it, and her mother claimed their wacko religion prohibited it, but Bobby argued she didn't really hold all those religious beliefs to be true.

then she just woke up. AND NO ONE ASKED HER! or did I miss that part?

well dammit was she against it or not??????!!!!!!!!

Spoiler:
Yeah, but the whole wife in the wheelchair bit didn't sit well with me at all. So that means for weeks (or however long it was) between the car accident, the husband's breakup with the girlfriend, then his murder, she was pretending to be paralyzed. That means she had to have this plan in mind the moment the accident happened. Unless they want you to believe she WAS paralyzed for a short while, then came up with this plan when she recovered, all the while nobody realizing anything. Right.
