not a surprise for me, they were hyping it and the first time I saw the commercial, when I saw the back of his head I knew who it was. I spoilered the name for those who haven't seen the commercial and wish to be surprised

Entertainment Tonight, E! News Daily, Access Hollywood, Extra, etc were all running clips from this episode (showing who it was) several days ago. I found it funny that NBC kept airing the "mystery" promos anyway.
And yes you could tell from the back of his head who it was.

I heard about him being on the show on the radio about a month ago. I suppose if you were really out of the media loop you would have been surprised tonight....but if you were that outta it, I doubt you'd be watching Friends.
