Any news on a Quantum Leap DVD set?

I heard some rumours about this

if anyone has any info.

Thanks

Nor am I but there was rumours before the summer of
a release of Quantum Leap Season one or, at the very
least, the few eps. on video that came out a while back.
If anything, there is a glimmer of hope. . .

*Leaps Out*

Spoiler question

I don't think I ever got to see the last one. What happened to Sam? Did he just go on after his chat with the God-like figure about righting the wrongs of his time-line? Was that the last one?

Something like that. There are two versions to the final Quantum Leap ep. called "Mirror Image". In the most common and American version, Sam is given the choice to go home or right that one wrong he never did (which was to help Al get back with his ex-wife Beth). Sam, being the good guy he was, opted to save Al and, thus, leaped back and did that very thing. Camera zooms in on a picture of young Al and the photograph leaps out, so to speak. We then get the title cards:

"Beth never remarried"
"They have 5 daughters and are about to celebrate their 30th wedding aniversary"
"Dr. Sam Beckett never returned home. . ."

Yes, every fan felt this was somewhat of a downer ending to such a great show and thus the Mirror Image debates began and still go on today.

The European ending is somewhat different, not as said. Everything up above transpires until the photo of Al leaps out. It then leaps into a photograph of Al in modern time with his family (Beth and his daughters) and there are no title cards.
