And now Marc Summers is doing that history game show on the Histroy channel. Hahaha! Anyone watch that? It's soooo boring!

god forbid you actually learn something on tv....as a history major i never miss an episode of History IQ.

anywho..back to the subject..i have a theory that double dare cheated the people on the show. whenever someone had to do something icky like pick the flag out of the nose, or dig through the giant waffles, they always had to do the monkey bars or something similar they're next turn!!

with theirer hands all icky and slimy they had trouble hanging on..

I used to continually get pissed at the idiots who always failed at the Sundae Slide obstactle.

Don't run up the center, you morons, run with your feet up the padding on the sides of the ramp!

As a point of interest

I was watching a show one time and Marc Summers was on it.
In the episode, he says that he suffers from OCD. As many of you know, most of this has to do with the fear of being unclean. This is what Jack Nicholson had in As Good as it Gets.

Kind of ironic since the TV show was very messy. If you look sometimes when he gets stuff on his clothes or on his hands he looks very uncomfortable.

Just a little FYI

applejack, he's talked about this numerous times on Howard Stern. HS has the same condition. They both talk how they've overcome the disease, but how occasionally it still haunts them.

Chuck Palahniuck should write a book featuring OCD. He's totally the right person for it.

Thanks, I couldn't remember which show I saw it on. I thought it may have been 60 minutes, but I guess it could have been Howard Stern's E show.

I just thought that it was a strange fact.

I saw a story about him and his OCD on Dateline a few years back. That's probably what you saw. I think he recently wrote a book about it, but I'm not positive.

I used to love Double Dare when I was a kid. If any of you get Nickelodeon's GAS network, they show a lot of Nick's old game shows, like Double Dare, Finders Keepers, etc.

Every time I think of Marc Summers, I think of that Halloween special where he sword-fights with magician Lance Burton!

Do they show "You Can't Do That On Television" or "Turkey TV"?

I don't actually get the network, but I know they only show old game shows, so I would say no. Besides, I don't think Nick owns the early shows like YCDTOT or TT. I would definitely buy YCDTOT eps on DVD, though.
