ST: Enterprise...with a rock soundtrack!?
I've heard spots on the radio for the premiere all morning, i'm not a Star Trek fan but isn't the rock sountrack a little/a lot out of place?
It may not be included in the actual show but i'll tune in regardless.

Banned
Enterprise takes place some years after the First Contact movie. In the first contact movie they still had CD's and juxboxes. Itll be great hearing a rock soundtrack. It would make sense. Are all songs banned in the far future or something?
The day I die...... i bet i'll be hearing Britney Spears and Backsteet Boys on the classic rock stations.

A pop-rock song sung by Rod Stewart is indeed being used for the weekly title sequence. Yuck. In fact, it's some song which originally came from Patch Adams--I kid you not...
Other than that, I'm hearing mostly good stuff about tonight's pilot, and while I'm still very skeptical, I'm eager to be proven wrong...

From: Bartertown due to it having a better economy than where I really live.
8-10 tonight, not sure if it's gonna be at 8 or 9 after that
2151 is the year from what I've read, 88 years after cochrane's flight in First Contact, and 115 years before Kirk's first episode of TOS

Fair enough, i though they would/ve opted for something more epic. What is the timeline for the show?

For the television and radio promos, they've been using the song "Wherever You Will Go" by the Calling.
However, the score for the series will remain instrumental, except for the opening credits, and have the addition of guitar and drums.
And actually, the original series used guitars and stuff, so it's kinda an homage.

they could have at least used the song from the commercials, it was a better song than the one they're using. the visual aspects are cool though
