TV shows that are in widescreen
I don't know but maybe these TV execs got conked on the head. They're showing TV shows in widescreen now. Here's some of them that I remember:
Crossing Jordan
West Wing
Angel
ER
Anybody else?

To the best of my knowledge both Buffy and Angel are filmed in widesceen (Buffy since Season 3 or 4) - remains to be seen if UPN will broadcast Buffy in ws like Angel was tonight.
Also, the Babylon 5 eps were all filmed in ws (well, except for some cgi work) and they are now being broadcast for the first time in ws on sci fi.

Yo huzefa! Do you mean show in wide screen and therefore being letterboxed on Non-Wide screen TVs?
If so I don't remember W & G, West Wing or X-Files being "shown" in wide screen.
I wish they would fast track this practice for everything outside the Sitcom realm.

Here is an odd one....
HBO's Band of Brothers was being shown "Wide screen" on one channel while another showed the "Full screen" version.
I can imagine why they did this but I wish I realized this during the first 2 weeks while I was watching it in "Full screen" bitching and moaning the whole way.

Yeah, i wasnt' going to be the first to say it.. But i watched every ep of west wing last year, and i dont' remember a single one being widescreen... I think you may be mixing that up with ER, which every episode last season was wide screen.
