Three's A Crowd

I am watching the E! True Hollywood Story on Three's Company. They mentioned a spin-off that was developed called Three's A Crowd. I don't remember this show at all. Anyone ever watch this show, and if so was it any good?

No, it was not good. After "Three's Company" ended, the new show followed the story of Jack Tripper, his girlfriend, and her interfering father. The setting was Jack's restaurant. No other "Three's Company" cast members were in it. I think it lasted just one year.

I liked her father played by Robert Mandan. That was the only thing good about the show. They were also in the last episode of Three's Company before it became a spinoff.

There was only one original Three's Company cast member

who appeared on Three's A Crowd:

Larry (Richard Kline) made a guest appearance late in the first and only season (to spice up the ratings.)

I liked the episode where there was some kind of misunderstanding.
