What the... (X-Files related)

I was just flipping channels and landed on FX. At first it looked like COPS was on... but then I realized that MULDER and SCULLY were in it, so it's X-Files. But it's a cops-like episode. This also looks like about the dumbest episosde I've ever seen. Does anybody know what season this is from?

It was definitely from a recent season, the one before Dogget was on it I believe or the season before that one.

I thought the idea was pretty good, and liked some of the characters on it as well. The actual plot left a lot to be desired though.

It was funniest show I have ever seen from X-Files. I liked the way Scully behaved front of camera.

This was a good crossover and a definite change of pace for the show.

I liked that episode.

The episode was called X-Cops from Seaon 7.

A pretty good experiment. I enjoyed this one. Especially when Scully gets off the phone with Sknner after asking what to do about the cameras. She looks right at the camera and says "The FBI has nothing to hide." Too funny.

Here is info on that episode:

The 1st 20 minutes were pretty funny/interesting, but the rest of the episode fizzled out after a promising start.

I agree. I've watched EVERY show since the beginning and, in it's totality, this show really disappointed me. As The Post Modern Prometheus and Home will always occupy spots in my top 10, this show will always hover among the bottom 10.
