IMO, tonight's show seems like one long promo for SummerSlam. The Stone Cold Invitational is really pointless.

Too bad there was so little time left for the Booker T vs Rock match. It was obvious they were rushing to finish in time. Booker T getting to bookend Rock two shows in a row is a pretty good sign he will lose at the PPV. However, at least Booker is getting some good exposure. There was a bit of controversy on Monday, because Rock slipped and Booker T dropped him hard on the shoulder with the first Bookend. Tonights finisher looked a lot more careful.
Summerslam is looking interesting, but the Stone Cold thing is very tired. I hope Angle takes him. I also hope Taker and Kane will at least try to make their match with DDP and Kanyon interesting. Thats probably to much to hope for from those to no sell artists though.

New set sucks, Steph looked like the biggest piece of trailer park trash, Stone Cold's gimmick was funny monday, stupid as hell tonight. Rock vs Booker was a waste of time.
Best quote of all from the evening?
After Michael Cole explains that the Hardcore championship can be challenged 24/7, he explains that it's waived until Summerslam. Not quite 24/7 now, is it?

Glad to see I'm not alone. The WWF is really slipping in terms of qualtiy programming since Wrestlemania 17. Guess once the real competition is gone one can afford to slack.
