Yeah SmackDown looks to be a much stronger show that Raw was. I didn't see Booker T's name - did I miss it? They didn't really have him do all that stuff Monday then not even put him on the show Thursday did they?

Did you see this live GuessWho? I'm envious if u did They will be coming to my town but only for a house show and I don't know if I should attend that one or one the next night that will be a Live Raw in a large city about an hour south of me. I do know that Lita and SCSA are scheduled to be in my town, but I just don't know if the show will be as souped up as a TV broadcast.

BTW, do Trish, Stacy Kiebler, Torrie Wilson, or Lita make any significant appearances? I really do enjoy watching them

Nope, though Raw and Smackdown are both in 10 minutes from my house next week, so I may need to go then.

The results for Smackdown are posted Tuesday mornings on sites such as wrestleline.com, lordsofpain.net, and 411wrestling.com

here's the full results, from wrestleline:
----------------------------------------------------

LIVE from the Staples Center, Los Angeles, CA

DARK MATCHES

*** Ian Harrison vs. Jerry Lynn
Jerry Lynn wins with a roll-up.

*** Essa Rios vs. Funaki
Kaientai comes out with some pretty funny mic work. Essa Rios finishes with the moonsault. Why the hell is Essa still working dark matches?

*** Reno (?) vs. Haku
Haku wins with the Tongan Death Grip

SUNDAY NIGHT HEAT

At first I didn't even know when they started taping for Heat because no announcers came out. (?) Also, they didn't even tell us the tapings had started. I only figured it out because the background in the TitanTron changed to the Heat background. I guess they don't even bother with the illusion of announcers any more.

*** Lance Storm vs. Scotty 2 Hotty
Scotty actually hits the WORM to a pretty big pop. But Storm makes him tap with the half Boston Crab.

*** Rhyno vs. Billy Gunn
Rhyno finishes with the GORE! GORE! GORE!

*** Mike Awesome/Shawn Stasiak vs. The Hollys
The Hollys take the win after Hardcore hits Meat with the Alabama Slam.

*** K-Kwik vs. Hurricane Helms
K-Kwik wins with whatever his damn finisher is.

SMACKDOWN!

Michael Cole and Tazz are the commentators.

We start off backstage, with Stone Cold firing up the Alliance troops. This skit ruined another illusion because Tazz had already made his way to the commentary position, but he was still shown listening to Austin.

*** Acolytes vs. Kanyon/Diamond Dallas Page - WWF Tag Team Championship
Test (cleanshaven) makes his return to primetime. He runs in from the stands, and hits Farooq with a Big Boot on the outside. Then he goes inside the ring and clobbers Bradshaw with the US Title. DDP pins, and we have NEW WWF Tag Team Champions!

*** Perry Saturn (w/Moppy) vs. Raven (w/Terri)
Saturn finishes with the 3-Handed Moss-Covered Family Credenza. Terri then steals Moppy, but Saturn doesn't see it. So he goes wandering backstage shouting "Moppy!".

Backstage, DDP, Kanyon and Test celebrate. Regal interrupts them and tells them they have to defend their titles against Kane and Undertaker at SummerSlam.

Back in Regal's office, Spike pays a visit, and is accompanied by Molly (I thought she was in OVW?). X-Pac comes in and complains, and challenges Regal and Tajiri to a tag match against X-Factor. Spike volunteers to fill in for Regal.

*** Edge vs. Rob Van Dam - WWF Hardcore Championship
Great match here. Monster "R-V-D" chants. At one point, Edge goes under the ring and pulls out a ladder to a big pop. However, to our disappointment, it wasn't used much. Lance Storm runs in, and Edge successfully fights off both him and RVD for awhile. But then Storm and RVD each get chairs, and hit Edge with the Conchairto. RVD then pins Edge. I find it very odd that Christian didn't show up.

Backstage, Stone Cold tells Palumbo and O'Haire that he likes their attitude.

*** Tajiri/Spike (w/Molly) vs. X-Factor
Huge "X-PAC SUCKS" chant. Glad the WWF gave up on trying to turn X-Pac face. X-Factor wins thanks to an Albert Bomb to Tajiri, assisted by a title belt shot to Tajiri's head, courtesy of X-Pac.

Backstage, Palumbo and O'Haire pay Regal a visit. They say they want some competition. Regal says he has to think about some opponents, but that they shouldn't worry because they'll have a match later.

Booker T. and Shane McMahon come out to the ring. They're both getting pretty good heat. Booker now says HE wants the Rock at Summer Slam, which of course brings him out, and to a HUGE pop. The roof to the Staples Center damn near blows off! Rocky of course accepts the challenge. Then Booker and Shane challenge the Rock to a handicap match RIGHT NOW. Rock accepts, and it's ON! (This is not really a match, just a "confrontation".) Booker and Shane take the early advantage and beat down on the Rock. Eventually, Rock gets the upper hand, and takes Booker out of the picture. Shane tries to run, but Rock catches him, and gives him a Rock Bottom through the announce table!

Backstage, more of Saturn looking for Moppy.

*** Sean O'Haire/Chuck Palumbo vs. Kane/Undertaker - WCW Tag Team Championship
Now, if you don't know how this one is going to end, you shouldn't be watching wrestling. Seriously. Kane and UT do their usual no-selling routine, and beat the snot out of Palumbo and O'Haire. They finish with the Double Chokeslam, and they are the new WCW Tag Team Champions.

Backstage, Stephanie talks revenge with Hugh Morrus, who's facing Jericho later.

Meanwhile, Angle and the Hardyz talk about who is more extreme.

*** Hugh Morrus vs. Chris Jericho
Jericho gets the win with the Liontamer. Jericho makes his way back up the ramp, and gets attacked by Rhyno! Then Rhyno sets up Jericho in the entryway and GORES him through the SmackDown screen! HOLY SH*T! It takes the crew forever to fix the SmackDown screen. Once it's finally fixed, we go backstage where Stephanie congratulates Rhyno and sets up Rhyno vs. Jericho at SummerSlam.

*** Ivory (w/Stacy Kiebler and Torrie Wilson) vs. Jackie
Ivory wins with a cheap clothesline while Jackie is distracted. Afterwards, Jackie rips off Ivory's top, Stacy's skirt, and Torrie's top.

*** Dudley Boyz/Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Hardy Boyz/Kurt Angle - Tag Team Elimination Match
D-Von is eliminated first with the Ankle Lock.
Matt is gone next thanks to a Full-Nelson Powerbomb from Bubba.
Kick, wham, Stunner for Jeff, and that's it for him.
Bubba is eliminated with an Olympic Slam.
However, Bubba doesn't leave, and D-Von comes back to ringside too. The heels beat down on Angle, all while Hebner watches. (!) Dudleyz hold up Angle, and Austin gives him a Stunner. Then the Dudleyz deliver a 3D. Then Austin traps Angle's ankle in a chair and jumps from the second rope onto it. Angle is now selling a broken ankle, and the Hardyz finally come back out. A stretcher is not far behind. As Angle is being carried up the ramp, Austin taunts him, and starts to beat him some more. Ah yes, nothing like a heel beating up a cripple. Angle musters up enough strength to reverse an Austin kick into the Ankle Lock. The Dudleyz separate them, and the Hardyz help Angle backstage. Austin is now selling an injured ankle too, as the show goes off the air. The Dudleyz help Austin up, and Tazz joins them, as they celebrate on the ramp.

Great show. The crowd was really into it, which made it a whole lot better. Also, some celebrities showed up too - Billy Corgan, David Arquette and even Arnold Schwarzenegger! The only stuff I didn't like was the two tag title changes. I'm getting so sick of Kane and UT. Did we really need to see them be tag champs AGAIN? But like I said, great show anyway. I definitely enjoyed being there. And SummerSlam is shaping up nicely, too.
