DirecTV's all-day ticket is now Blockbuster Ticket. That deal must have cost BB some major cash, which means they might have the power/money to pull off their "rental pricing" scam for DVD's.
What scares me is although technology might exist for some great media enhancements like "movies on demand" whereas you can order a any movie off a website and have it played directly into your home, BB will petition against it since their bottom line is effected.
If DirecTV/Dish/etc choose a move toward movies on demand, I think BB will be instrumental in holding them back.
Anyone else see BB's involvement in DirecTV a bad thing? Or have I just gone mad?
