Forgot about EZ Streets, an excellent series that
lasted four or five episodes.

King's Golden Years is scheduled for an 8/21 release
by Artisan, priced at $20.

Rand, thanks for the info! That's great news! www.image-entertainment.com says that it will be 232 minutes, which works out to approx. 4.75 episodes (???). I hope this isn't some edited down version--I want the whole kit and kaboodle.

I've got the 4 disc laserdisc set and it's 360 minutes. I think it ran a total of about 8 hours on TV and if you subtract commercials that comes to about 6 hours.

How about the Remo Williams series with Roddy McDowell as Chuin? It was only on about 1-2 weeks. A shame too, because there's a huge fan base for the Destroyer series....

Just thought of another 1. Sleepwalkers on NBC. It only lasted 2 or 3 eps.

The Mike O'Malley Show - even though Yes, Dear has been successful so far.

Encore! Encore! starring Nathan Lane.

I was going to mention Profit. This is still one of my all time favorite shows. I wish they would release these on DVD with the unaired shows. My tapes are about worn out and I haven't seen the ones that didn't get shown. At least David Greenwalt , the creator, is still working on two of my other favorite shows Buffy and Angel. Wolfram and Hart , the evil law firm on Angel, really reminded me of some of the stuff he was doing on Profit. Fox should have given this show more time like they did with the X-files.

I had rented Golden Years on (forgive it was a long time ago) VHS and it had another ending. I was excited to see that it was coming on DVD but if they are going to cut it again why bother.
What about Nightmare Cafe how long did that last?

The Martin Short Show (not his daytime talk show, the one on NBC back in 94) lasted a grand total of 2 episodes. Tenacious D was only 3 episodes, but I'm guessing it wasn't cancelled, they just decided to not make anymore

The Family Tree, way back in 1980's. I have a friend starred in that show. It cancelled right after first show.
