The main actor for Julian Luna was killed in a motorcycle crash. The creater decided to end the show rather they trying to find some other way. Though I'm sure it was close to being cancelled anyways. While I enjoyed it, I don't think it got favorible reviews. |

The Paula Poundstone Show weighs in at a whopping 2 episodes.

Deadline only ran 5 episodes for most of us. Those bastards on the West Coast got a full half-season :/

Anyone remember the Jeff Goldblum/Ben Vereen show called Tenspeed and Brown Shoe? I don't think that made it past 6 episodes.
Ben Vereen is E.L. "Tenspeed" Turner, an inveterate con-man and master of disguise. Jeff Goldblum is Lionel Whitney, a "brown shoe" (accountant). Through an unlikely series of circumstances, they form a detective agency. Tenspeed is the realist, while Lionel fantasizes of having adventures like the fictional private eye he idolizes, Mark Savage. Here's another summary: Fast talking conman Earl Lee "Tenspeed" Turner hooks up with straight arrow suburban professional Lionel Whitney (who just happens to have a black-belt in Karate and was an Olympic Games pistol shooting competitor) to form a mismatched buddy private detective team. |
The Ben Stiller Show, I think.
|
"South of Sunset" with Glen Frey on CBS was cancelled after just one episode in the early 1990's.
Wasn't "The Tim Conway Show" cancelled during the show itself the first time it aired? Or is that just Hollywood lore? |
How many times did "Action" air before it was cancelled? Did it even make it to 6?

Action had more than 6 episodes. FX even ran some episodes that never made it on airline.
Profit (a great show with unrealized potential) 3 episodes Rewind --- the Scott Biao vehicle lasted ... zero episodes. The Dick Clark game show on CBS last season lasted 2 or 3 episodes. The tv version of the Opposite of Sex on NBC lasted I think 4 episodes. Go fish on NBC will also be gone soon. |

The Road Home was an excellent '94 series that lasted
maybe four episodes. It starred Karen Allen, Terrence Knox, Frances Sternhagen, Roxanne Hart, etc. Maximum Bob was a '98 series that lasted six episodes, starred Beau Bridges, Liz Vassey, Kiersten Warren. A fantastic summer series that was stupidly not picked up. |
Last year's Wonderland only lasted one or two episodes. A pity, because I would love to see Michelle Forbes once a week.
|
I really liked Harsh Realm...but it might have had 7 or 8 episodes, can't remember.
|
"Police Squad" had exactly 6 episodes.
|
The Street didn't last long either..
|
Anyone remember how long Stephen King's GOLDEN YEARS lasted? If it was over 6 episodes, it wasn't by much...
This unfairly treated series was released on LaserDisc years ago--I wonder if it'll ever appear on DVD...I'd buy it... |
Turn-On was cancelled after one showing.
