I'm rather fond of Boston Public.
The only shows I watch regularly are BP, Simpsons, Futurama, X-Files, and RAW. (not including all the Star Trek reruns) That schedule is rather convenient as they all run together on 2 different nights, though I do so miss the 8-10 Simpsons\Futurama\X-Files lineup
.
edited to add: How in the sam hill could I forget Iron Chef!

I'm still with Fraiser. I don't care what people have said..this season was great...
But if you want tv show that is on tv right now...new or old..goes to....
Quantum Leap.
which comes on the Sci-Fi channel
Can't get enough of this show...Dean Stockwell is awesome, although it's more than I can say for his wardrobe.

Maybe you were being too literal with the episode? I didn't consider it an actual ghost, just a memory... Just him imagining what she'd say if she were still alive, etc...
For better or worse, these "memory people" are a fairly common dramatic device these days, without implying anything explicitly supernatural...

Oh I know. That's why I didn't like it - overused as a dramatic device.

Wow, someone mentioned Frasier. That and Ed are the only shows I look forward to watching. And maybe Everybody Loves Raymond. Otherwise, there are plenty of reruns....

I don't ever watch TV shows for serious drama. I get that from movies. To me, almost all of the dramas on TV seem very pretentious. Rarely are they actually captivating, tense, moving, or whatever they are trying to be.
For me, TV is my number one source for comedy. My favorite shows are:
Simpsons
SNL
Conan
Jackass
Whose Line is it Anyway
Also, I HATE sitcoms. 99.9% of them are lame, unfunny, cheesy, cliched, rehashed from a billion other sitcoms, pieces of garbage. The only one I have ever liked is Seinfeld (though even it had its cheesy moments).
