I'm still waiting for someone to post something that says next season is the last one. I have never, ever heard that other than the fact their current contracts expire at the end of next season. That doesn't mean crap. They could always come back and sign on for more seasons. I am not a huge fan of this show any more but still manage to catch it now and then. Any one show me where the information next season will be their last came from?
Yeah i too want to see the info that says that next season will be thier last, ive never heard of that besides here at DVD.talk.

If it is thier last season then that would be a very sad thing because its my favorite show. Anyway, do you think Chandler and Monica would have some sort of problems commencing next season. Becuase in the finale Chandler was having cold feet and was doubtfull of getting married until he found out that Monica was supposedly pregnant and that sort of changed his mind a bit. Do you think there would be some anamosity next season, that he might feel upset or dissapointed that she wasnt pregnant.
As for Rachel being pregnant, please oh please let it be someone on the present cast for bringing in a surprise guest/father of the baby will be extremely silly and ridiculous. I really do hope its Ross for the reason that they have so much past and chemistry together. Also in a way itll be so cool to have Joey as the dad, that would be a funny twist.

Oh and when the hell is the next freaking Friends DVD coming out. Last i heard we here at DVD.talk sent emails to Warner Bros. asking them to release them in seasons but havent heard nothing since then. Will they release them in seasons or will we see another "Best Of" happening again, whats the deal?

Due to Survivor I only caught a few shows. What's the deal with Joey and Rachel? Did they get together in one of the episodes?

My vote goes to Ross for the father.

Most people are assuming that next year will be the last simply due to the fact that the cost for the series is already at a "break even" point at best, plus this year saw a huge overall decline in the ratings. Weaker ratings usually translates to less money available at the bargaining table. Also, since the "Friends" always negotiate with NBC as a team,if just one of them decides the time is right to leave, then they'll all leave. The combination of these three factors (money, ratings, and cast unity) leads one to believe that next year will be the last.

As for the "Who's the father?" question, I like the "Gunther" answer given above. It would certainly fit with Rachel's character to do something a little crazy right after her 30th Birthday breakup with Tag. This situation could also lead to a storyline that could see Ross and Rachel coming together just in time for next years' finale'.
