I rented that recently and thought it was a good watch. I don’t think I need to own it, but $4.99 is practically the price of a rental.

Got Rain and Free Solo in UHD, $4.99 each. May have gotten some others if they were UHD/$4.99 but alas, no.

It streams on HBO currently.

Very happy to see that all of the Touchstone titles came in at $4.99 and not the $7.99 that some had predicted. How sweet it is to be able to stream Tombstone on my iPhone!

Already had a bunch but still bought Con Air, Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, Enemy of the State and Sherlock Holmes. Only Sherlock Holmes is UHD, unfortunately.

Hope this sale will be successful enough for Disney to consider more $4.99 digital sales on classic Touchstone & 20th Century Fox titles, especially those that will not be shown on Disney+.

Picked up Tombstone & Enemy of the State.

This is the one I've been waiting for. Picked up Con Air, Armageddon, Enemy of the state, Pearl Harbor, Real Steel, Gone in 60 Seconds, Tombstone.

Happy to see the $4.99 price and only slightly regretful to have paid twice as much for Tombstone earlier this year. Bought Con Air, Demolition Man, and Pearl Harbor, and annoyed to have the last one not migrate to MA yet but too lazy to relink my accounts. Now to decide whether I need any more big dumb action movies like Armageddon.

Went back and picked up Con Air, Armageddon and Pearl Harbor. Tempted to pick up Demolition Man and Enemy of the State too. I guess the old school part of me never thought I would drop more than $20 on digital content in a week. I prefer the disc in hand.

Just added Armageddon, Enemy of the State, and Red Sparrow. Slightly tempted to get a couple of the DCAU movies I’ve enjoyed, but they’re not super high on my rewatch list and may hit one of my streaming services at some point.

Oh I'm familiar, just figured they weren't part of any Disney Flash sale...

VUDU (at least) lumps them in with other MA-compatible $4.99 Action movies in a common sale.

Yeah, the Disney Fox stuff this round has been lumped in with a bunch of WB stuff. I almost didn’t bring it up here because of that (first wondered about Red Sparrow but that was part of the promo announcement), but it’s related sale talk.

There's a few Disney/Touchstone movies that will be on sale for $7.99 at Vudu on Tuesday.

The Alamo
In The Army Now
Crimson Tide
The 13th Warrior
Good Morning Vietnam
Miracle at St Anna
Operation Dumbo Drop

^ Any of those besides Crimson Tide worth picking up?

The only other one I have ever seen is Good Morning Vietnam, and that was when it was in theaters and I honestly don't remember anything other than Robin Williams sitting in a DJ booth.

I remember Robin Williams riffing a lot and a “What a Wonderful World” montage.

I think Crimson Tide is the only other one I’ve seen.

I really liked The 13th Warrior. But it gets mixed reviews. And I haven't seen it in a while, so I don't know if it holds up.

I think this is the first time I've seen it on sale. If I didn't already own it, I'd buy it.

I remember seeing Operation Dumbo Drop when it first hit home video yet I barely remember the movie. I remember enjoying it but can't remember if we'd want to watch it multiple times. It hasn't been commercially available in HD other than a Disney Movie club exclusive Blu Ray.

I'll probably get it because I just have the DVD. Of course there is always a curiosity with this film because of what happened to it after the Crichton/McTiernan falling out. You have to figure the original Eaters of the Dead is in the vault somewhere.

I really wish Disney/Touchstone would allow McTiernan to release his cut. I even have this original teaser (actual 35mm film) with the Eaters of the Dead title. I think it holds up really well, but it could have been so much better. Still fun as is.

I guess I’m out of the rest of the promo. I have most of the princess films already, and it’s hard to justify spending $9.99 when they’re all on D+. The only one I’d consider is Sleeping Beauty because that’s a particular favorite.
